Peter Cat offers a warm, lively ambience that makes it a great place for a relaxed meal. As a vegetarian, I was happy to find some good options on the menu. We started with the veg kebab, which was flavorful and well-cooked. The only drawback was that it was served without any chutney, which would have complemented it much better. The server recommended the Pineapple Blossom mocktail. It was refreshing, but it tasted quite similar to a pineapple milkshake, so I was expecting something a little more unique. The highlight of the meal was definitely the veg sizzler. Unlike the usual sizzlers loaded with noodles or rice in Chinese-style sauces, this one was a refreshing change. The patty was delicious, the vegetables were cooked perfectly while retaining their texture, and the overall combination worked really well. The portion size was generous and easily satisfying. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience with good food, attentive service, and a nice ambience. A couple of small improvements, like serving chutney with the kebabs and making the mocktails a bit more distinctive, would make the experience even better. I'd happily visit again.

We visited after almost a year, and it immediately brought back so many memories—we’ve been coming here regularly since 1996! The Chelo Kabab and Sizzlers still hold that signature, mouthwatering taste we’ve loved for decades. We also had our all-time favorite Fish Fingers with tartar sauce, which were as crisp and delicious as ever, along with the wonderful Chicken Irani Kabab. It’s amazing how the quality and charm remain unchanged after all these years. Highly recommended!

as a heritage iconic place to go while at Kolkata this surely has maintained it's charm. Food and obviously the chelo kebab platter is the most iconic

The ambience was good. The chelo kabab was good in both Chicken and mutton variant but the bhetki meunier was too good. The dessert was also amazing.

Everything is good, except for the fish. This is my second visit and both the times we ordered fish. Fish Muniere and Grilled Fish Sizzler. The fish is smelly. Raw smell is present. I'd suggest you all to try chicken recipes as they are very good.

The food was amazing but the service was horrible! The most disgusting service ever seen in any restaurant. If you’re going with family then I’d really suggest to go elsewhere.
