We all live in a myth that south kolkata cafe or restros are overpriced. But wait. Today we are introducing an hidden gem @info.petuk which not only offers some of the most delicious foods but offers them at an affordable price also. . Located just one minute walking distance from Hazra more, it's pretty easy to find. It is small and cosy with sitting capacity off of 12 people at a time. They also have a takeaway counter. . Now coming to the foods tried the following items; Petuk Special Kebab Cotton Kebab Fish Fry (Bhetki) Lemon Basil Fish Mix Burnt Garlic Rice Chicken in hot garlic sauce . ➡️ Cotton kebab was very soft and juicy with cheese oozing out from the middle making it look just like cotton. ➡️ Petuk special kebab is a must try here as its not only coated with cheese its marinated in cheese also making the experience more cheesilicious. Comes in both 2 and 4 piece option. ➡️Fish fry also surprised us as are using fresh vetki fish fillet which is very rare nowadays. With very thin and crunchy layer of coating the fish fry was too good with mustard sauce dip. ➡️ Lemon basil fish was also unique as they only used lemon and basil leaves along with onions and bell peppers. Tasted really good. ➡️ Mix burnt garlic rice and chicken in hot garlic sauce combination complemented each other really well with spice level medium. . Overall quantity and quality wise, it more than satisfies me. Highly recommend everyone to visit at least once if you are there in south kolkata.

Recently I visited this great place with my friend to have some quality food . This place is located near Hazra more, Precisely 2-3 min walking distance from Jatin das park metro station. We have tried Petuk Special Kebab Cotton Kebab Fish Fry (Bhetki) Lemon Basil Fish Mix Burnt Garlic Rice Chicken in hot garlic sauce All the dishes were absolutely amazing. From starters to main course every dish was delicious in taste . I completely loved cotton kebab and petuk special kebab. Lastly chicken in hot garlic sauce was Amazing too. Taste wise this outlet absolutely deserves 5 stars from my end. And yes ! Prices were pretty affordable. This place has to be in your bucket list and I would love to recommend this place to all.

I recently discovered Petuk restaurant, and I'm so glad I did! This hidden gem serves up delicious North Indian and Chinese cuisine at unbeatable prices, with a menu starting at just ₹100. The dishes are rich, creamy, and full of depth, with standout options like Petuk special Chicken kebab, bhetki fish fingers, hot garlic Chicken, Hongkong fish etc. Despite its unassuming atmosphere, Petuk's cozy ambiance and warm service make it a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, Petuk is a must-visit for foodies, offering incredible value, mouth-watering cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere that will leave you craving for more.

My most favorite would be the Irani Fish Kebab and Petuk special kebabs if I call it mind-blowing even then it would be an understatement, it is honestly that good! I can't tell you how scrumptious the dishes were. Located near Hazra crossing, this restaurant is a gem of a place. The momos were juicy yet tender and the kebabs were damn filling. We tried a lot more dishes which you will see in our stories soon. Specially with Pujo round the corner I decided to try this place out. The prices are super pocket friendly and the dishes just blew my mind!

This IPL Season enjoy the best of the game with the best of Chinese at PETUK. Serving some of the best starters and Chinese, Petuk is the name known to the people of south Kolkata for last 10 years. Out on a Winter Evening. This place was moderately crowded. Ordered: Chicken Noodles and Hot Garlic Chicken, full plates. Noodles(8/10): Good quantity. Tastes very good, not tok strong, neither too bland. Good amount of chicken and veggies in the noodles. They use a thick variety of noodle which is good. Quantity is good enough for 2 on an evening. Cost: Rs 170 incl taxes Hot Garlic Chicken (7/10): The gravy could have been a bit more tastier, but works out. Chicken was fresh and juicy not dry, like it happens with frozen ones. Decently sized 8 pieces of chicken. A pretty decent buy. Service (6/10): They served the gravy dish 10 mins after the noodles. By then, the noodles cooled off. They should always serve main course together, not separately that also in 10 mins gap. They need to work on this part.

had to wait for 1hour to get the entire order on table, they just served half order and same for other tables , which made us wait for 1hr for other times to come by the time other food that was already served turned cold . we ordered 3 egg fried from which only 1 fried rice was served and 2sides, so we had to wait for other 2 fried to come 😓 anyway coming to taste of food it was kinda ok
