This small eatery at Lord's More is my go to place for just one particular dish and that's BUTTER IDLI - the ultimate idlis that one gets in town undoubtedly. 42 rupees a plate is a throwaway price for such a delicacy - the huge yet super soft idlis are served hot smothered with butter and Chaat masala and are a treat to your tastebuds.. Even the usual condiments like Sambaar, Coconut & green chutney can compete with the best that is served anywhere in town.. My humble two cents: MUST TRY.. Journey of an Epicurean Cine Trotter continues.. My journey can also be tracked via www.instagram.com/epicureancinetrotter By the way, have you joined Kolkata Food Trotters on FACEBOOK yet??

Visited this place around 11 AM on a weekday. Had read some good reviews about this place and was searching for some good old dosas . Ordered 2 plain dosas and a masala dosa for 3 of us. The place is literally a hole in the wall with just 3 benches placed on the sides of a footpath. However, it is roofed so sun and rains won't he an issue. The order arrived within 5 minutes. The dosas were cooked well and had a golden brown glaze. The masala was flavorful and it was not at all spicy. The dosas are served with sambar, coconut chutney and a green chutney(coriander chilli). The coconut chutney and green chutney are some of the best I had. They are very flavorful and the coconut chutney has coconuts in it unlike many places which water it down. The Masala dosa was very filling. I would have liked a little less of the masala inside it . Also ordered a plate of Idlis. Though they were soft fluffy an fresh hot , a slight smell of the lentils was the dampener. Entire order cost us Rs. 190 only. Overall , this is a must try place for trying dosas! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Intro - Had ordered delivery through Zomato - Food : Dahi Idli - The combination of Idli and Dahi was interesting and really was good . The idlis were pretty big, fresh and absolutely melted in the mouth.Dahi was thick and of great quality . Really enjoyed ! 4/5 Sambar Idli - Again the idlis were top class and the sambar was very nice . 4/5 Pricing - A tad on the higher side with couple of Idli s costing around 53/- . However looking at the size and quality of Idli I think it’s fine 3.5/5 Overall - Good idlis - good quality 4/5

Yes, A South Indian delight again. A pocket friendly place, covering a small area but winning some big hearts. I did order food from this joint , and it was not at all disappointing. Chutney and Sambhar tasted good. Idli was too hard , and need some changes. Rest everything was satisfactory. They even serve dhania chutney ( green chutney) alongside and overall a good experience.

They have the best Dahi Vada in kolkata I've ever had. Small place but the food is really nice. It looks like any other roadside south Indian outlet but it's much better, I tell you

Decent South Indian and Value for Money. The dosa is good. They can look into more south Indian options on the offering. Sometimes quality differs
