Went yesterday to try their 799 buffet.. It included luchi, alurdom, dimer devil, basmati rice, alu posto, begun bhaja, sorshe pabda, chicken kasha, mutton, chutney, pantua, rosogolla and payesh. To be precious, Mutton was absolutely delicious, soft and succulent..Pabda fish was fresh, alu posto was really good, rest all other items were also very nice. Staff was courteous, professional and well behaved. And the ambience, that deserves a special mention.. Beautiful place and well decorated. We loved the time we had over there. Looking forward to visit again💙

First off all, I was amazed by the ambience. The idol of Ma Durga with bowl of rice in her hands gave us the exact feeling of authenticity of Bengali culture and ofcourse The purety of Bengali food. The Bengali background musics which were playing all the time complinents the ambience and makes you feel more homely. Coming to the food. We have ordered the the Dhakai thali. 1. As per my mother who is a great cook, there has to be a dry chilly phoron in the tomato chatni.. to balance the sweet and spicy flavour. It was not there that's why l felt it a bit more sweet. 2. Also as per my mother the secret ingredient for a perfect payesh is a pinch of salt, that was missing. Thow it was yummy and creamy. 3. Mutton was very soft and the gravy was also good but I badly missed the potato. 4. Posto bora needs to be little softer, because we have to remind it that this is not a snack item, we love to have it with gorom bhat. The crunchyness can be enjoyable but that crunchyness took away the joy of the soothing flavour of posto. Might I suggest that you can give only one postobora but it has to be thick and filled with posto. 5. I have really missed some ghee in gorom bhat. Atleast a half spoon of ghee will not only complete the thali but also give the essence of having a true bengali thali. 6. When your serving a Bengali thali then you must complete it with a little piece of lemon (Gondhoraj Lemon if possible), a slite cut off onion and a green chilly. Now coming to service Absolutely not satisfied. 1. In a fine dining restaurant the first thing you expect after settling down in table is a glass of water. Thow there were mineral bottles but we had to ask for the glasses. Thow I liked that they have yoused bronze glasses to maintain the authentic of a bengali Rajbari feeling. 2. We have asked for some onion and green chilly, the green chilly was given after asking 3rd time by my father but we didn't receive any onion. 3. No one have asked us about extra rice or anything else if we need. No one asked us about how is the food. This are some basic courtesies that we can expect from a well known fine dine restaurant. Overall the experience was not that bad. We can absolutely plan one more visit.

Pathetic service. Only these two words can describe my experience. Staffs misbehaved with us. Had gone there to celebrate my kid’s birthday. Got the starter served with main course which also served almost 45 mins late even after we fixed the menu and given advance 2 days earlier. Two aged persons who were having veg got their food served almost after an hour. No staff appeared there to serve rest of the food even after asking and we had to help ourselves . I strongly suggest to boycott these kind of restaurants.
