We started the new year dining at Raj hotel with my friends. The restaurant was clean and hygiene. It was crowded but still the service was on time. We had ordered Veg Noodles and Crispy Chilli Babycorn. The quantity was sufficient enough for 2 people and it was filled with veggies. Noodles was deliciuous and perfectly tossed in Chinese spices. Crispy Chilli Babycorn was crunchy and spicy. The quantity was very good. The best part of it was the prices here is very cheap and pocket friendly. We had a great time and this made our new year really delicious. Highly recommended to visit to celebrate your any occasion or events.

I have been visiting this place since 2007. Like they say 'looks are deceptive', so please dont go by how the inside of the restaurant looks. If you want good food and some lip smacking dishes, please pay a visit or order at home (if that is possible). Famous for traditional authentic food like katla kalia, mutton. You must also try paneer butter masala, chicken bharta (the common ones) and will never get a chance to complain. God bless the team!

Amazing ambience with proper service. The food is delicious and you will surely enjoy it. The location is near Ballygunge Station which is also near Garihat, if you are hungry in these places then you must visit this restaurant.

Very bad closing time almost every time closed please fix this problem and let me know because i am a regular customer of raj hotel and shall always be if the problem is fixed.....

Best cuisine ..fabulous dishes like fried rice, chilli chicken is just love here. More to say about its bengali cuisine that's also mouthwatering.

Used to visit this place long back. A snacks shop basically. Please dont expect any such ambiance. . The noodles they serve is more than enough for 2 people. Mixed noodles and Mughlai paratha are amazing. Overall not a bad place.

Raj hotel & restaurant is one of the most oldest restaurant in ballygunge station area. They have both ac and non ac section. We ordered, ✔️Chicken Cutlet : Cutlet size was decent according to price. It served with french fries, salad and mustard sauce. French fries was coated in a batter and deep fried which is very unique. ✔️Raj Special Mughlai : Very disappointed with their special mughlai. It served with alu torkari and salad. Staffs are very courteous. I had tried roll and chowmein from their restaurant few years ago, which was good.

I used to go there when i was a school kid. This place is full of memories. I used to go there with my friends, with my mother. I loved their food trust me. Now recently i have visited this place. It has become so disappointing and disgusting. I ordered chicken clear soup and drums of heaven. Firstly they were very very late to serve food. The the clear soup was okay okay. But the drums of heaven was a disaster. We all know the this particular dish is chicken lollipops pan fried in some kinda sauce. We all know it. But they served half cooked chicken lollipops. They were not crunchy from the outside. After that it was not a whole piece of chicken. It was more raw batter and onion an 1-2 small chunks of chicken. This was a disaster. They have become worst. Do not waste your money and taste buds here.

Worst service. This restaurant has deteriorated drastically. Firstly they give wrong dishes and now there service has become worst. The food is tasteless. Worst experience. 😭

Experience was not at all up to the mark.In mutton biriyani the piece of mutton was also not good(was not eatable) ,so yeah please kindly fix these kind of problems 🤬.
