Nice food....i like all the items. Food is like rajasthani food. It feels like homemade marwari food. But the Quantity of Pulao in thali is so less.

Rajasthan Bhojanalaya offers a delightful vegetarian dining experience with an emphasis on freshness and authentic flavors. While most dishes include onion and garlic, the restaurant does provide select no onion–no garlic options for those who prefer them. We opted for the thali, which presented a well-balanced assortment of traditional dishes: Dal Fry: Mildly spiced with a gentle tadka, offering a comforting and homely flavor. Gatte ki Sabzi: Soft, well-cooked gattas in a simple yet flavourful gravy, capturing the essence of Rajasthani cuisine. Matar Paneer: A classic preparation that tasted just as expected—rich, balanced, and satisfying. Rotis: Served fresh and soft, complementing the curries perfectly. Pulao: Fragrant and well-cooked, adding variety and texture to the meal. Papad and Raita: Provided as accompaniments, both enhanced the overall dining experience. Gulab Jamun: A sweet and warm conclusion to the meal, completing the thali beautifully. In addition, we ordered Aloo Paratha and Paneer Kulcha. Both were freshly prepared and served hot, though it would have been preferable if raita had been included with these items. The ambience of the restaurant was clean and inviting, and the service was prompt and courteous. Overall, Rajasthan Bhojanalaya offers value for money and a wholesome vegetarian meal experience that combines simplicity with quality.

Kolkata is called the city of joy for a reason. Mixed cultures from all over India and their food is located in every lane of Kolkata. This place in the lanes of Barabazar is decorated nicely following the Rajastani theme and its perfect for family dining. Prices were affordable and service was good. I've never been to Rajasthan nor I've much knowledge about Rajasthani cuisine so without much thinking I ordered Rajasthani Gatta ki Sabji and Tandoori Roti. I quite liked the food, seemed fresh and tasty. You can easily try them on your veg day.

Ordered a thali. If you want to have less spicy but quite tasty food, go for it ! Pulao was the best part of this thali. Sabji's were good too. But in salad they only gave onion. They should write "Onion salad" instead of "salad" in the thali inclusives. I also ordered an onion salad and the result was half of the onion got wasted, as they already gave only onion in the salad(which was included in the thali). Also, the quality of onions was below average hence 4 stars. Food was good !

Located in the interiors of Barabazar, this eatery served authentic Marwari cuisine in very affordable prices. The food here is fresh and delicious. Do try out their Thalis. We really like the dishes they prepare with fresh ingredients.

Ordered a couple of veg thalis for home delivery from this “Bhojnalaya” based somewhere in Bara Bazar – and trust me – I consider this as 1 of the biggest mistakes of my life! The thali was less of a dinner and more of a joke – comprising the below:- (i) Matar paneer (ii) Dal fry Both these main course were not actually main course – but mere samples. You must have seen those very tiny containers used to pack chutneys / pickles – their serving of paneer & dal was done in these very containers – unimaginable – good enough to eat half a chapati at best! What would have saved the day – if atleast these were good on taste – but sadly, these items tasted below par, hence, we were disappointed on that count also! Dal was less dal and more water – pathetic! (iii) 2 pcs chapatti – These were ghee phulkas, but ought be duly prepared – and not uncooked at several places and burnt at others! Who serves food like this? (iv) 1 pc missi roti – These were more of the kind of rotis served to prisoners sentenced to rigorous imprisonment – as these were inedible, you need jaws of a beast to bite these – needless to say that we discarded them after a couple of bites! (v) Special pulao – Nothing special about it – a mere topping of a couple of cashews atop does not impart any “specialty”! If that’s the management notion, then they need to change their mentality high time! And of course, 50 gm of pulao will not even last a couple of bites – a 0/100 for portion size! (vi) Salad (vii) Papad These condiments are meaningless if the main course is so disappointing! Worst taste, worst food presentation, severely low quality and negligible quantity, especially considering the pocket pinch! Quantity was as good as “samples”, pulao was as good as nibbles of “prasadum” served at temples! Only positive thing was the decent and spill free packing! A big NO to this place – order at your own risk!

Owner nature is too bad don't know how to speak with customer . Shows attitude and rudely talk to ladies . For a child of 2 years who do not eat any outside food they do not allow to eat home made roti to child and inspite of understanding they shouts and use slangs to us . Worst worst owner I have ever seen

owner behaviour is very rude do not know how to talk with customers. scares childrens by shouting and showing angerness . he should learn to speak how to speak in front of ladies, children and specially senior citizens. he has no right to disrespect customers and use wrongful words.
