Rasona- the Rooftop cafe of Behala Behala is often referred to as one of the most congested places of Kolkata where potholes are more popular than anything. But Behala has much more to offer, with the vast growth of F&B industry across the city of Joy, Behala is not left behind and regularly coming up with some great options to dine in or to order from. Who says Behala doesn’t have good cafes? Here’s a one which might not have the perfect view of the city from top but is just perfect for a lazy evening to spend time with your loved ones over a cup of coffee or a plate of momos. Where is it? 5 minutes from Bakultala bazar , close to East India pharmaceuticals. It is just 10 minutes from Behala chowrasta in an auto. Use google location if you face any difficulty to reach here. What to expect? This is not some fancy rooftop place rather a casual rooftop turned into a beautiful dining place to attract students and others low on budget. Expect some good food and drinks without burning a hole in your pocket. Their signature dishes? Undoubtedly cheese chicken momo is their most unique creation and hence their bestseller. Steamed chicken momos are drenched with lots of molten cheese and topped with some more grated cheese , oregano and chilly flakes. Heavy on your stomach and treat to your tastebuds. Besides their chicken drums of heaven is very attractive and yummy. Tossed in a sweet n tangy sauce , these are crispy and delicious. They also serve few continental delicacies. We tried the chicken steak which was served with very well made mashed potatoes and grilled veggies and a sauce to dip in. From the chinese , the fried garlic chicken combo is a decent one. Veg fried rice served with 3 pieces of garlic chicken and cold drinks. Good enough for one with an average apetite. Their fried rice has pieces of cauliflower in addition to other usually veggies which i loved. From the drinks section we had Masala Colddrink, Oreo shake and Volcano drink. Of which the volcano drink in something which is unique. It just irrupts like a volcano.

Rasona is a cozy rooftop cafe beautifully decorated with lights and other decorative items. The main attraction is graffiti which represents the daily chores and lifestyle of Kolkata people. It is located in Behala jhautala. One will easily get an auto from Behala Chowrasta. The items that I tried there were - 1)Cheese momo - This is the best and most drooling item at this place. It was very tasty and cheesy. Highly recommended. 2) Drums of heaven - This is another must try item at this place. The chicken pieces were tossed in sweet and tangy sauce and tasted great. 3) Chicken steak - The chicken steak was also good served with mashed potato and grilled veggies. 4) Oreo shake - This is another drooling item at this place. It was thick and the sweetness of it was perfect. The drink was beautifully represented too so a must try item. They are also serving combos - Fried garlic chicken which consisted of veg fried rice , 3 pieces of garlic chicken and cold drink. The portion is enough for one having average appetite. They are also serving another combo consisting of steam momo served with soup and sauce and virgin mojito. We also tried two other drinks Masala thumbs up and volcano drink. It's a very reasonable place serving good food items. Service was prompt and a must try place.

They serve delicious Chinese and Continental dishes along with refreshing drinks. I tried: 🔸Steamed Momos 🔸Cheese Momos 🔸Drums Of Heaven 🔸Loaded Chicken Nachos 🔸Fried Rice+ Hot Garlic Chicken+ Cold Drinks Combo 🔸Masala Thumbs Up 🔸Oreo Milkshake 🔸Fresh Lime Soda . . Recommendations: Loaded Nachos, Cheese Momos, Drums Of Heaven . . Visit this café for a good adda session with your friends!

Behala's first rooftop cafe with burj khalifa burger.If you can finish this burger in 3 minutes, you will get the burger for free!. You will also get a lot of items. The ones I tried: 🔸Steam momo (must try) 🔸Tandoori momo 🔸Kimchi salad 🔸Chesse French fries 🔸Lasagne (must try) 🔸Noodles chilli chicken combo (must try) 🔸Sahi tukda (must try) 🔸Moctails Ambience was also the best open air all around. The quality of the food was good enough. The price is also very reasonable. There is no better place to hang out with friends.👍

I had the ulta fulta burger there. It was so delicious and cheesy! Requesting you all to taste once because you will taste heaven in a bite! Kudos to my friend Sagnick, the owner of the cafe, for presenting such yummy food at such affordable price. The ambiance of the cafe is so friendly, you will enjoy yourself to the fullest. Do visit or order online.

We ordered chicken white sauce pasta,chicken sandwich combo consists of chicken sandwich,chicken soup,french fries,chips and a dip and fresh lime soda. The food tasted so good. Although the service was a little slow but the experience was good allover.

Is a cosy cafe and it is nicely decorate. Nice place to hangout with friends. The price of the food is reasonable and quantity is also good but the taste is not that good.Order few drinks but it was not up to the mark. Overall it is a nice place to hangout in small budget.

Hello Everyone, On January 13, 2023, I went here with a friend. We got a coffee and a tandoori chicken salad. We were also open to ordering shawarma. But wait... here's the story. They served us the chicken salad, which was extremely bitter!! And we demanded to talk with the restaurant manager. We asked him if he tasted the food before serving it to us. He flatly lied to our faces, claiming that we had a problem with our tastebuds. We were willing to make everyone in the restaurant taste the food, but they took it away after realising their error. They acted in a very disappointing manner. All we wanted was to have a good time at a new restaurant. I paid them in full and then left. They made no apologies for their actions. As customers, I believe it is our responsibility to support such startups in our communities. But they, too, should understand that when they lose a customer, they lose a slew of others along the way. I want them to understand that they must alter their behaviour. In today's world, behaviour is everything.

Tried their tandoori momo and burger but the taste was not good at all. And the tandoori was like normal steamed momo with some tandoori masala on the outer part and the burger has also disappointed me it was not up to the mark comparing to others.
