Located at the 4th floor of Forum Mall Royal China is a perfect place for a fine dine experience. From the authenticity of dishes to the sophisticated interiors this place will impress you with all it's characteristics. We tried some of their signature Dishes along with some refreshing mocktailsbto go along with it. We tried : 1.corn water chestnut dumpling 2. vegetable & chive dumpling 3.veg poached dumpling . 4.chicken chicken dumpling in chilli oil. 5. Steam prawn wonton in spicy sc 6. Butter poached prawn. 7.Ginger Ginger chicken spring onion. 8. Silken tofu black bean sc 9. French bean & Shitake mushroom 10. Sauted chicken Green chilli 11. Prawn in chilli Blackbean sc. 12. Lotus leaf chicken rice 13.Vermicelli Vermicelli sea food noodles. The food they served was more than enough for one Person. The quality the quantity both were top notch. ROYAL CHINA, the authentic Chinese restaurant chain, has been in business in Kolkata for quite some time; we had dined there 3 years back, loved it, and convinced the children that it’s a place worth visiting for lunch. So, off we went, my wife, our son, our daughter (with her infant daughter too) and me to savour the delicacies on Oct 08, 2026; mind it, it’s a weekday, even then, the restaurant was over half full (a sight to behold – a team of 14 elderly ladies occupying a large area, chatting and enjoying their meal). Starters at ROYAL CHINA has to be Dumplings – we were suggested portions of Prawn & Crab Black Pepper Dumpling (it was topped with caviar) – simply out of the world succulent; the Chicken Shanghai Soup Dumpling was equally tasty – the hot broth inside the dumpling simply heavenly. Had a lovely dining experience at Royal China! ❤️ We ordered the Vegetable Gyoza, Vegetable & Coriander Dumplings, Chicken Soup Dumplings, Crispy Prawn Cheung Fun, Burnt Garlic Egg Fried Rice, and Flaming Prawns — and everything was really nice and delicious. 🥢✨ The Flaming Prawns in superior sauce were definitely a highlight. For the mocktail, we tried the Coconut Lychee, and it was absolutely great — refreshing, flavourful, and a perfect accompaniment to the meal. 🥥🍹 Overall, a really satisfying experience with delicious food and a lovely dining atmosphere. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy Chinese cuisine!
