A century old restaurant totally justifies its fame. We had Special Mutton Biryani, Chicken Biryani and Mutton Chaanp. The biryani tastes authentic, light, but not Kolkata style as you would not get potato along with it. Mutton pieces in the biryani are too tender, too succulent. Mutton Chaanp is also delicious, a bit of oily, but tastes 'lazeej'. The people here are really courteous, service is good.

Heard a lot about this resturant.Its a very old resturant.Yesterday I went there.Ordered 1 plate mutton chaap,1 rumali roti,1 plate Mutton biriyani,one Firni,one Shahi Tukda MUTTON CHAAP=I liked the taste.It was perfect for me.Tasty,no funky smell.(5/5) RUMALI ROTI=It was soft.perfect.Went really well with mutton chaap.(5/5) MUTTON BIRIYANI=I didnt know they dont offer potato in biriyani.Rice was okayish.Actually I didnt find any flavour in rice but mutton piece was very flavourful,soft.In addition got 2 small pcs of mutton keema ball with the biriyani.(4/5) 4 for the MUTTON Only. FIRNI=Ididnt like the taste of the firni.But my friend liked it.(2/5) for me SHAHI TUKDA=I quite liked it.One thing I didnt like is that it had bhrnt oily scent.(3/5) Our bill was around 1200 rs.Bathroom was clean

Visited today to try their signature mutton chaap and it did not disappoint. It’s loaded with rich, irresistible flavours—easily the highlight of the meal.The place has an old-school charm and a strong sense of nostalgia, though the ambience could be better. They do have an AC seating area as well, and families will likely be more comfortable there. The street noise can be quite disturbing in the non-AC section, so choosing the AC setup makes a noticeable difference.I skipped the biryani after reading a few negative reviews, but the chaap was absolutely spot on. Don’t expect a huge portion, but it’s sufficient for one person. Would definitely recommend this place for the mutton chaap.

Food was very oily, Special biryani wasn’t good at all. Plus the place was extremely dirty and unsanitary. Food was spilled under the table and wasn’t cleaned well. Glasses were dirty.

I've ordered such foods...mutton boti kebab, mutton biriyani and mutton chap, the special items of this restaurant but I had hilarious experience...food tests and quality are so bad...I go there with the rating but it's disappointment for us...Rs.1267/- waste of money.

I order mutton biriyani that price was 360 but quantity was too small also there is aloo in biriyani.can u believe in Kolkata no alo in biriyani also taste was not good ..one of the worst biriyani

The worst food and taste less.. and not the worth of bill we paid. 100 grams of biriyani with 50 grams is 355 which is tasted like lemon rice.

Tried their Mutton biriyani, which was very oily. Mutton Pasinda was good but Mutton Chaap was not good.

A very bad experience of mutton biryani wastage of money. Biryani rice feels like boiled rice.
