If you're looking for budget food then this is the right place. The chicken fry is quite good and the size compared to it's price is fantastic while the fish fry is average and that's exactly what you expect if you see the price and the size of the fry. Fingers and fish batter fry both are good enough. Please do remember that this is a roadside shop for snacks and therefore nothing extraordinary is expected.

Never ever trusting food bloggers videos again.. went there after seeing so many vloggers raving about this place and was highly disappointed. the fish fry was definitely large but was totally bland.. no seasoning at all.. only salt. it was basa inside but zero seasoning.. the chicken fry was also relatively large and had some flavour.. the fish fry is overhyped..

There is no reason for this place to get the hype that it gets. The quality is becoming worse with time. They barely maintain hygiene and the fish they serve is literally smelly.

it is extremely sad that this place has lost its standard. it used to be my most favourite fish fry place and I have referred Sankar's fry to many of my friends.. the fish they use are now extremely bland if not stale. (talking from experience). their fish fingers tasted like bread pakora. not kidding.. I've had them yesterday. it was a punishment finishing the fries. I am not trying anymore unless their standard goes really high and hear it from other people. it will take a lot more than 1 person's review to get my faith restored. for good fish fries, go to Great Taste.. this place is near ekdalia road.. cornfield road juncture. they never compromise quality for profits unlike Sankar's fry. sorry

Worst fish fry I have ever tasted. Few days back we visited Sankar Fry. We ordered Fish Fry and Chicken Cheese Fry. Both were horrible in taste. Price of the fish fry was Rs. 90/- & Chicken Cheese Fry was also Rs. 90/-. Quality of fish was not good. One another thing is, they accepted cash payment only.

Tried their Fish chop and fish fingers. Both tasted awful. There was no seasoning in either. Fish fingers were certainly not Bhekti and the fish had no taste, rather stale. And in the fish chop could hardly find any taste of fish. Totally a waste. Wish I could give 0 rating.

Received single piece vegetable chop instead of fish combos (fish fry and fish butter fry) worth rupees 250, immediately rang the delivery boy on opening the package, but he confirmed over telephone that he picked the same package handed him by the shop.FRAUD
