We ordered the Kacha Aamer Shorbot, Karaisutir Kachori, Potol Chanar Dolma, Misti Pulao, and Kosha Mangsho. Everything was absolutely delicious, with a special shout-out to the Potol Chanar Dolma. The Misti Pulao and Kosha Mangsho were amazing—they tasted like a home-cooked meal without being overly oily or greasy. The staff was cordial and attentive, even treating us to complimentary Misti Paan at the end. The only downside was the takeaway Pulao; it had a much stronger spice scent compared to the milder, more balanced version we enjoyed at the restaurant.

Had a wonderful experience at Saptapadi Restaurant in Behala! The food was truly delicious—especially their Bengali thali, which was flavorful, well-balanced, and felt like a perfect homestyle meal. The service was amazing as well. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. Overall, it’s a must-visit restaurant and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Bengali cuisine. A memorable and satisfying experience!

A must visit restaurant for bengali cuisine located throughout Kolkata and they serve some of the signature Bengali dishes which we cannot make at home due to daily life struggles. We had an amazing time there trying out some of the signature dishes from their ala carte menu and the experience and food were top notch.

I was with my family.. service is very good but the food quality should improve. I took a fish fry that was top notch . But the mutton was very disappointing ,so rich and the taste was average. Rest food is also not so good as expected.

The quantity of dal was very small. The kosha chicken, and bhetki paturi was very oily. Service and ambience was good.

I want to clearly highlight that da issue I faced is due to misleading offers shown on your platform, not any mistake frm my side. While booking a table through Zomato District at Saptapadi Restaurant, da following offers were clearly displayed: Flat 15% OFF on total bill+ (₹150 booking online amount paid) Additional 10% cashback (valid for payment between 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM) SBI Credit Card offer – Flat ₹300 OFF on ₹1500+ Based on these clearly mentioned offers, I proceeded with da booking n payment. However, at the time of billing, the restaurant staff denied the SBI Card discount, stating that only Zomato District offer is applicable. This condition was never clearly mentioned during booking. This is completely misleading n unfair, as customers rely on da offers shown on your platform before making a payment decision. Additionally, da food quality was extremely poor n did not justify da high bill amount of ₹4176. If multiple offers are shown on da app, but later denied at da restaur

The place is very congested, we went as a family of 11, but the seating wasn’t comfortable, when asked , we were told, that was the biggest table which they had, I will not suggest groups to do booking there if they cannot provide proper seating arrangement, coming to Food, although we paid around ₹1000 for puja special thali, the food was pathetic , Betki Paturi had no coconut it was blant, golda chingri was a gimmick as only 1 tiny piece was given in each thali , we weren’t even informed that their is a choice between normal rice and basanti pulao, the waiters were super confused and asked us to check menu if all items were provided, no discount was provided even for group booking , only Chitol muitha and mutton was good, Thali had No welcome drink nor Luchi

I'm writing to express our profound disappointment with the service we received today. Our group of five was ready to have lunch, but we were met with an arrogant attitude from the receptionist. Their behavior was not just rude, but openly hostile and condescending. It's truly shocking to be treated as if you're a burden for simply asking a question. This kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the entire establishment.

The staff's behaviour is very rude. Not willing to offer the buffet, not compiling with Zomato. I'll not recommend anyone to visit.
