Tried a Bengali Veg Platter and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of rice, shukto, cholar dal, aloo bhaja, and beguni, aloo posto, dhokar dalna and paneer and aloor dom was comforting and full of authentic Bengali flavors. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. To end the meal on a sweet note, the chutney and mishti doi was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet—exactly how a traditional Bengali dessert should be. A wholesome and satisfying traditional meal!

The ambiance of the place has the nostalgic vibe of "Calcutta" and the legendary Uttam Kumar..... The food and service were absolutely awesome... Special mention to Restaurant Manager Vivek for being truly helpful and kind.... Definitely a Bengali's heaven for exquisite palate!! 😊

The place is good as well as the food quantity and the quality. I had chosen Bengali non-veg thali where I can take an unlimited quantity of rice and pulao as per their system. It is a family friendly restaurant.

We got our seat immediately on arrival however food was served after nearly 30 min. We were informed that buffet was not available and needed to be booked in advance and require group of 20 or so. This was disappointing as we had plans for trying the buffet menu and we did not find this mentioned anywhere. We ordered 2 Celebration Thali and 2 Special Amish Thali. Instead of luchi they are currently serving unlimited pulao or rice. All items were served together although the space on the table was less. Most of the food items were cold apart from steam rice. They were repeatedly inquiring if any bowl can be returned. They were polite and prompt. Liked - Fish fry, Ilish, Ghonto Average - Pulao, Chingri (had mild smell), Alu dum, Chitol Muitha (salty), Chutney Disliked - Mutton (bland taste), desert Overall - Okay Restaurant's SaltLake branch is bit congested.

The restaurant floor was oily and slippery. Had an issue with cleanliness. I ordered Bhetki fish fry , murgi posto pakora , rice , sukto , pomfret masala , dub chingri , kacha aam sarbot , lichu lanka sorbet, dab ice cream and nolen gur er icecream . The Pomfret fish was not very fresh . Kacha aam sorbot, rice and sukto was very good . Bhetki fish fry , posto murgi pakora , dab chingri , nolen gur er icecream was average not bad . dab icecream and lichu lanka sorbot not good in taste . overall average experience . Multiple items were not available .
