We had ordered takrai chicken, fried fish, wonton , tom yum soup, chicken sweet corn soup. The starters were delicious. For main course we ordered hakka noodles , burnt garlic fried rice and two gravy dishes. Did not like the taste of fried rice, but rest of the items were good. But their mocktails were not good at all. Staffs were well behaved. Overall we had a nice experience.

The food was really delicious here. We tried a lot of different dishes and the taste of all the food were very good. The ambience was also very good. Washroom can be slightly improved.

A quite place serves good food at low to medium pocket pinch. Good to have a family dinner. Staffs were gentle and polite. Food serves on time. Waiting time was less

Good comfort food. Pepper Garlic prawn was fantastic. Burnt Garlic Fried Rice was good. General Tso Chicken was a bit tangy to our taste. Rest everything was good.

I visited on January 2, 2026, and their food quality and quantity were superb. The staff's behavior was very polite. I would recommend this restaurant to those who are looking for a great Chinese food experience.

Utterly unprofessional management and pathetic customer service — ruined our celebration! ​If I could give zero stars to Shanghai Barasat, I would. We booked a table through District four days in advance for a special birthday celebration. When we arrived tonight, the staff flat-out refused our entry, casually claiming the entire place was booked for a private party and they couldn't accommodate us. ​What is the point of accepting confirmed reservations days in advance if you can't honor them? To make matters worse, it was already 9:30 PM. By the time we got into an argument with their rude, unapologetic staff, we were left stranded with barely an hour before every other restaurant in the area closed for the night. ​Instead of showing basic courtesy or taking accountability for their blatant double-booking, the management displayed shocking arrogance and zero empathy.

I have ordered a non veg buffet and quality of the main course items was disgusting .And talking about starters and dessert that was okay apart from that other items were not at all okay.
