Best Sushi place in town that actually doesn't make your wallet cry. I was not much of a fan of Sushi but honestly this place made me love it. Surely would visit again.

Salt Lake's newest Japanese spot! 🍣 This compact restaurant offers delicious Japanese delicacies for dine-in or takeout. I tried the Veg Tempura and Spicy Avocado sushi, both tasty, but portions felt a bit small for the price. Easy to get to, but parking might be tricky with the market nearby.

Shio, for sure!!! A lovely little food joint tucked in near CA Market, unpretentious and smart in authentic Japanese cuisine. Each and every dish was yummy from Prawn Tempura Sushi, Chicken Bao, Chicken Katsu, Ema Datsi Chicken Gyoza, Chicken Ramen to Matcha and Sesame Ice Cream...

Tried the sushi platter here and overall had a good experience. The sushi pieces were generously filled, fresh, and quite satisfying — definitely not the kind where you feel like you’re just eating rice. The portions and variety in the platter were impressive as well. The only thing I felt could be improved was the amount of cheese used. Some of the rolls were a little too cheesy, which slightly overpowered the more delicate flavours of the sushi and fillings. A better balance would have made the platter even better. That said, the quality was good, the presentation was appealing, and it was still a very enjoyable meal overall. A nice place for sushi lovers, especially if you enjoy richer, more indulgent flavours.

The food tasted real good but but but… we ordered a ramen bowl and it was absolutely cold, told them to re heat it thrice but ahould have known in first time that it was of no point.. and man the kimcy rice bowl tooooo spicyy!!!

Food was good and fresh, Sona noodles had a bang of flavours! But disappointed with the parcel, got sushi and dimsums packed, to my surprise sushi didn’t have wasabi and pickled ginger and the dimsums didn’t have chilly oil, despite of mentioning it twice to the staff!

THERE WERE COCKRAOCHES. we never got to the food, the service was PATHETIC, there's a qr system for placing orders, which the staff won't care much to explain. then if the order won't get placed for the same, they don't update you for about an hour and get really really rude as well. What a disappointment lol

The service is absolutely pathetic and they give lame reasons like the food is such that it takes time to be prepared. Towards the closing time the dimsum they gave was very weirdly made and rest everything was average. Please improve your service as well as quality to survive.
