Condé Nast Traveller's choice: From a Santiniketan pottery store to a cultural food project - market-driven plates celebrating Bengal’s crafts and produce.
Feels like Kolkata distilled; stylish, rooted, and a bit subversive, manifested in dishes like the Bhetki à la Kiev with radhuni butter and the Sienna reuben sandwich with mangsho pastrami.

Started with the Gondhoraj & Sweet Lime Lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing and the perfect way to begin the meal. The citrusy flavours were bright, balanced, and distinctly Bengali. Next came the Battered Bhetki & Sienna Fries with their non-veg tartar sauce. The fish was beautifully crisp on the outside while remaining tender and flaky inside, and the fries were addictive. The Mutton & Caramelised Onion Burger was the highlight of the meal—juicy, flavourful, and elevated by the sweetness of the caramelised onions. Finished with the Mango Cheesecake, which was creamy, light, and packed with fresh mango goodness, making for a delightful ending. Loved the quality of ingredients, thoughtful presentation, and relaxed ambience. Sienna continues to impress with food that is simple, comforting, and executed exceptionally well.

To say the food was delicious would be an understatement. Absolutely great, fine dining experience, meticulous service by Mr. Animesh.

Reminds me of Mainland China Advertisement from childhood where the Customer is looking for the Chef, just to kiss his hands.

Food: 10/10; everything we ordered was top notch… clean, good quality ingredients and brilliant taste! Service: 5/10; the staff was polite but they seemed reluctant to provide recommendations… had to be told several times for small things even when it wasn’t too crowded… seemed to have an attitude problem! Would have been a great overall experience had they been warm and courteous.. Pricing: 7/10 Slightly overpriced for the quantity they serve; the portion sizes are quite tiny! Overall, a must- visit if you’re in Kolkata.. especially for the Food! Do ensure to make a reservation before visiting! P.S. this review is for the Bengal to table restaurant!

The place is absolutely delightful 😊 But food at the cafe was just OK. Also would recommend the cafe to hv the restaurant menu available for those who not aware of a proper lunch / dinner menu being served.

The ambiance and food quality are pretty good. But, I found it little overpriced based on the food quantity.

Sienna features now in all top restaurants of Asia. Their chefs must look into the handling of complaints. We were a group of 10 people. We ordered at 12.45pm . 2 plates salad came at 1.10pm. fried fish 2 plates came at 1.30pm. 1 fish due. 2 Pasta came at 1.30pm, 2 pasta due. 1 burger came at 1.45. The piecemeal cooking was wrong. The sorry from the manager was a courtsey sorry. Shame, because Sienna put Kolkata on the map, but clearly the powers that serve dont give a damn.

Asked for a table for two, but was given table at the cafe floor without any knowledge or prior permission They should specify which area will the table be given: cafe or resturant. You are popular does not mean pateons can be seated anywhere. We have other exemplary food joints too in kolkata
