This place is a hidden gem , located near Balwant Singh's dhaba. The first time we visited was definitely unplanned back in 2013. I have been going there since then. The continental spread there is to die for. Especially the chicken sizzler that is served with buttered herb rice. The sizzling chicken is tender and has a buttery flavour. Also the Mexican rice and chicken deserves mention. Some starters that I regularly have are fried chicken and stir fried babycorn which is quite basic but definitely soothing. The Chinese there is also really really good. The ice cream sundaes also shouldn't be skipped. To be mentioned, the restaurant charges very little or no tax. This place is a total thumbs up in terms of service, price, location, ambiance quality and quantity of food. It must be visited 😀😀😀

Been here for 3 times & tried a lot of items which include Chinese, north Indian as well as continental cuisines & every it felt like Wao ! Be it quantity of the food or its taste or ambiance or behaviour of the staffs or the price of the food. Everything was upto the malrk. Will definitely want to visit this place again & again.

Really satisfied with the food and as well as the services. We ordered pepper chicken which was really very tasty. Then mixed Hakka noodles and chicken coriander was fabulous. And chicken steak sizzler was bit sour in taste but too bad.

To taste some awesome food and delicious deserts, you have to visit here. Pan fried fish was so good to taste and so was the fruit ice cream and chocolate ice cream.

Tried their Crispy Chili Baby Corn and Crispy Fried Chicken. While the former was not cripsy, it tasted great. The latter had six pieces and was fried to a crisp. They had no provision of mustard but it would make a great pairing with this dish. Quantity is pretty good for the prices. Service time is moderate. The staff is courteous and alert. Value for money.

The location is too good. Had Biriyani & Noodles out there. The quantity is too much and it is overall good food. The quality is average and taste is so far so good.

Today I went to this amazing place 10 minutes walking distance from rabindra sadan metro station This place is a family restaurant own by sugar and spice We've ordered mixed fried rice , chill fish ,chicken hot and sour soup Ambience - this is a family restaurant, with very friendly atmosphere ,this place is for everyone. Food quality- this place have very descent quality of food I'mnot say too tasty but not too bad as well .they made the fish chilli with rui or katla fish that was Abit disappointing for me . Over all ,you can visit this place they serve foods with reasonable rates and you've to wait Abit for your food ,food processing is Abit slow . Ratings : 3/5

Situated almost opposite to the Sskm emergency gate, this place is one of its kind with restaurant upstairs and a confectionery on ground floor.Interior is basic, but the open glass windows with the view of road makes the ambience elegant.Serving time is too long. The chinese part tastes better than their Indian part. But never go for the desserts.Everytime I ordered caramel custards, they turned out to be intolerably bitter in taste. The beverages are too good. And its definitely pocket friendly.

We had ordered masala kulcha which was cold & Gatlic naan was as hard as stone. Mutton Rara Gosh was very ordinary in taste. Quantity was quite less. Being in such a location & the brand “Sugar & Spice” association, I expected much better food experience. However I got some good references earlier. But for us it was an utter flop show. Overall I shall not be recommending this place.

If there is an option to give zero star,I would have given that. Went to this place after hearing a lot about the food quality. We ordered Chelo kebab, malai kebab and brownies in sizzler. Both the kebabs were tasty and affordable. When we ordered the brownies in sizzler, they served them in a sizzler plate placing an aluminum foil over it. Generally every restaurant serve the brownies and the spoon in separate plate as spoon are of metal and transfer heat easily. That's totally out of their illiteracy.Anyways I tasted so many restaurants but every single cafe and restaurant serve in front of you,(the ice cream and chocolate sauce) but they already prepared and bought. As it was very hot and burnt probably (chocked my throat) we kept the brownies beside so that I gets cool and we can have it. After 5minute one waiter came and said please have it else you can't feel the taste. Listening that I took the spoon from the sizzler plate and just when I took the spoon inside my mouth,my whole lips and it's skin sticked with the spoon and completely burnt off. I was almost senseless in pain and asked for the ice which they gave after 10minutes. We said it's not the proper way to serve but their attitude was like (you don't know how to eat). None serve like this. At least we expected an humble reply. Even they were so adamant in behaviour that asked us for the bill immediately and said every restaurant serve like this. Being a food blogger ,I covered almost every cafe in Kolkata and brownies is something close to my heart. So learning how to eat is just a lame excuse. I recovered after 3days of medical treatment so writing here today.. Be aware of the fact.spoon was not hot in handle as that part is out of the sizzler plate. Hope restaurant management takes some necessary steps.
