Visited this place along with my best friend and was quite amazed at the ambience and hygiene of this place! They are conveniently located besides Mani Square, Kankurgachi and are a part of the Visitel hotels! For starters, we ordered Crispy babycorns – just one word – perfect! Perhaps, one of the best babycorns we ever had – crispy, less spicy, excellent on presentation and very tasty of course – garnished with spring onions! Since the babycorns served were so huge in quantity, we were literally full after eating it and thus, had no option to go for something very light for the main course – a veg biryani with raita and salads! This was also nice but portion size could have been better! Also, raita was a little bitter – however, the complimentary onion salad, papads and mint chunney made it up for us! They also served us a complimentary pastry, which was an excellent gesture from the management! Service is flawless, prices are reasonable (considering that they are a 3 star property and also the excellent experience they provide) and I give them 5 stars, a recommendation and several hugs and re-visits! Many thanks to the management for maintaining such high standards in the hospitality industry!

Good option to. Eat in Bypass, next to Apollo clinic. They have a Café as well outside seating also available where we can enjoy food outside.

Went for Breakfast buffet yesterday. Decent buffet spread with good quality food, staff hospitality. Value for money at Rs 299 AI.

Saptami afternoon in search of good food I went to Mani Square, where a bunch of restaurants are present. But in the mood of Durga Puja there were long queue in every other restaurant, also the prices were double to triple than usual. To ignore the crowd I visited Visitel that is located just a few steps away from Mani Square. Surprisingly this place wasn't crowded and we just walked in and got a table. I found that they were serving the cheapest Bengali Buffet in Durga Puja at only Rs.570 where in other places the range was varying from Rs.900 - 2000. Ambiance -------------------- Soul Kitchen has very simple and classy ambiance but with with Dhaker music and simple decoration they extended the experience. Staffs and Management -------------------------------------------- Staffs were polite and helpful. Even in these busy days they were professional enough to ask for feedback. Here's what was present on their special Durga Puja menu... Welcome Drinks ------------------------------- Ghol (3.5/5) Gandhraj Lebur Sarbot (5/5) Usually buffet at most places comes with only 1 welcome drink but here they served two that also was unlimited. Ghol was quite natural but Gandhraj Lebur Sarbot was just unbelievably good. Salad, Pickle and Chaat Counter -------------------------------------------------------- Chutney’s | Kuler Tok | Aamsatta Khejurer Chutney | Amrar Ambal | Plastic Chutney | Aamer Chuney Salads | Green Salad | Fruit Chaat | Aam Kasundi | Cous Cous Salad Yogurt | Tok Doi Lot's of Chatni and Salads were present to choose, I took Plastic Chutney and Aamsatta Khejurer Chutney with dessert that tasted good. Pickle, Papad and Bhaja Counter ---------------------------------------------------------- Pickles | Mix pickle | Appalam papad |Chingri Papad | Sabudana Papad | Aloo Papad | Aloo Jhuri Bhaja | Begun Bhaja | Patal Bhaja | Bori Bhaja | Lal Saag Bhaja | Karala Bhaja Again lots of Papad and fries were present to choose from, I took everyone's favourite Aloo Jhuri Bhaja and Begun Bhaja that tasted really good. But I was seriously missing Luchi with Begun Bhaja that they didn't served. Starter  ---------------- Mochar Chop (3/5) Kumro Phuler Bora (2.5/5) Mangsher Chop (4/5) Gandhraj Fish Tikka (4.5/5) Fish Tikka was just superb with the punch of Gandharaj Lemon. Pices were big and soft like cotton balls. Mangsher Chop was tasty too but Mochar Chop and Kumro Phuler Bora could've been better.   Main Course -------------------------- Sada Bhat Lau Chingri Bhaja Moong Dal Aloo Jhinge Posto Karaishutir Dhokar Dalna All traditional essential Bengali items tasted like home made. Thakur Bari Pulao (1/5) Golbarir Kosha Mangsho (3.5/5) Kacha Lanka Diye Murgir Jhol (3/5) Mourala Macher Bati Chorchori (3/5) Only bad item in this buffet was the Pulao, actually it wasn't really Pulao. They added Beetroot in the Pulao and unfortunately made it taste really bad in place of sweet and aromatic. Mourala Chorchori could've been better. Apart from that Chicken and Mutton both were great. Dessert selection  --------------------------------- Rasgulla | Sandesh | Patishapta | Misti Doi | Nolen Gurer Ice-Cream Misti Pan These traditional Bengali desserts were just perfect to end this buffet. Only the Misti Doi was bit spoiled but they changed that instantly when we asked them. Conclusion ----------------------- Didn't thought this place would be so good, specially for only Rs.570. Food quality and service was great. Only disappointment was that they didn't served Luchi or any kind of Bread in the buffet that could've made it 5 star.

One of the most underrated buffet restaurants of Kolkata. Buffet at 550 rupees in a 3star hotel. Visitel hotel❤️ It's situated just next to Apollo Gleneagles hospital, Kakurgachi. The ambience is very good and calm. It's much better than the quality and taste of the food. The lunch buffet cost 550 rupees per person, check Nearbuy app for details. We got the buffet at 300 rupees(per person) because we had 250 rupees coupons from our previous purchase on that app. So better use the Nearbuy app next time 😎😉. They also have breakfast and dinner buffet. In the buffet menu, there were- *Hot and Sour Chicken Soup (very delicious, one of the best soups ever had in a buffet 😋) Appetizers- *Cheese Ball (perfect cheese pull, nice taste😌) *Daal bora (average) *Chili chicken (good ❤️) *Salad bar- Green Salad, Raita, Achar, Papad Main course- *Veg Au Gratin ❤️ *Jeera rice (not properly cooked) *Indian bread- Tandoori rooti/Naan/Butter naan *Yellow Dal *Aloo goobi masala *Paneer Butter masala ❤️ *Sorshe fish (delicious) *Chicken kasha (tasted good 👍) Desserts- *Chocolate Brownie (average) *Angoori gulab jamun (worthless) *Caramel custard (below average) [**Dessert section needs much more improvement] P.S- They charged us 76 rupees for a 1 litre mineral water bottle (normal 20 rupees aquafina) with GST🌚 Overall rating- Food: 3.5/5 Price: 3/5 (choose the buffet option, a la carte costs much more, but same food quality as buffet) Ambience: 5/5 Hospitality: 5/5 Overall nice experience. Just don't come here with expectations for the buffet. Then, you will feel good, as it's a pocket friendly buffet. 😉

Today, we went to visitel's soul kitchen restaurant near Apollo hospital bypass. Service was late but the food was good. When we are about to pay the bill through dineout app, the person who was serving us told that " we are not accepting payments through dineout app. We have a different menu for dineout. You have ordered a-la-carte , so you have to pay directly. " We told them that we are regular customers here and everytime we have paid through dineout only. We even asked him to show the different dineout menu which he mentioned. But he was confused and did not get any menu. When we called his senior, he said that "we are having some internal issues with dineout due to which we won't accept payments through the app. I don't want to get into any arguments with you. So you have to pay the amount here directly." The way he talked to us throughout and in such an attitude as if we were there for free food. He was ill mannered rubbish person who had no manners to talk to his customers. We did not talk any further. The amount was 1088, to which we paid him 1500; specially mentioning that the extra tip was given for him to go and learn some manners. Think before you go to this restaurant, only to spoil your mood!

Worst experience ever.... They charged Rs380 for a portion of chowmin which is not enough even for a kid... Believe me on this... Secondly when i wanted to pay via Zomato or dineour, they said they are not getting payment from either of them and hence wont accept these payment method... Haa haaa.... Super duper funny... Thanks for such lovely pathetic experience 🤣🤣🤣

Went for a quick lunch, opt for buffet. Provably the Worst buffet in town. Not a single item's was available. Staff's are clueless, manager was busy with paperwork.
