I recently discovered South Station, a hidden gem serving authentic South Indian cuisine, and I'm hooked! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that transported me to the streets of Chennai. The menu boasts an impressive array of traditional dishes, from classic idlis and dosas to innovative fusion creations. I opted for the Sambar Vada, and a side of Coconut Chutney – each bite was a flavor explosion that left me craving more! What truly sets South Station apart is the attention to detail in their cooking. The spices are perfectly balanced, and the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality and quantity served.

A hidden gem absolutely. South Station surprised me with every dish I ordered, one better than the other. The variety of dosa is amazing and I tasted almost every kind. Idli was melt in your mouth soft. sambhar and chutney also taste so amazing that it can easily beat any other south Indian place in Kolkata. Best had to be waffle dosa for me, perfect dessert dosa at a a south indian cafe l. would highly recommend you this place if you are looking for some great South Indian food.

Overall ,dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance made for a memorable experience.” “My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The different varieties of Dosa makes it truly fun for south indian food lovers . Overall experience was very good...Food quality is great... Service is fast...Taste is awesome....They offer large variety of dosas and trust me every dosa has a different flavour...Such a delight for a South Indian food lover.....Would highly recommend to everyone...You will fall in love with South Indian food

Visited the restaurant 2 days back. clearly one of the best South Indian foods I've tasted in Kolkata. Especially the Sambhar is awesome. They have quite a variety of dosa options and really soft and tasty idly just like the way I like it. will definitely recommend to everyone and will be visiting again soon.

A good South Indian cafe was missing in Howrah but its better late than ever. Must visit if you have an authentic South India palette. Also don't forget to try Genie Dosa ! loved everything here
