The best of the best. It's a hidden gem in one of the narrow lanes of Dhakuria Station Road. Every sweet I had of this shop, was just awesome. Mostly the ones of Nolen gur. Be it patisapta or sandesh paturi or jalbhara or nolen gurer rosogolla or baked rabdi and many more. It was just out of this world. Very rare you find such a great quality of Nolen gur sweets and savouries these days. Highly recommended.

Visited this sweetmeat shop with a lot of expectations. And I am floored. Each and every mishti is top notch. I had boikuntha bhog,rosomalai,baked rossogolla, sorbhaja,baked mihidana, their famous mishti doi , rabri and all other suggested sweets. This ranks among the best in Kolkata. All items are brilliant. Highly recommended.

What can I say about this place? Simply a hidden gem! I never knew that such a brilliant mishti outlet existed in the by-lanes of Dhakuria, Kolkata! Thy name is Suresh Mistanna Bhander! Someone arranged their Rasgulla, Gulab jamun, Mishti doi, Kaju Sandesh and butter scotch mishti for us as a token of gift and we were in veneration! Nothing beats their Sandesh – not even the big names like Surendranath Dey! Their butter scotch mishti was another winner – just amazing! Mishti doi was equally brilliant! Rasgulla was a tad too sweet to my liking – never mind, as it was soft and spongy as well! Gulab jamuns were decent, not great though! Packaging, portions, presentation – all were fine! Overall, an excellent experience! Cheers!

An old shop and a favourite with locals for their sweet fix. We have been patrons for years and are delighted to sample its treats. The Sandesh, Baked Rasagolla, Gur Rasagolla , Rabri are all excellent. Go and indulge #theculinarycommentator

We had taken a box of sweets from this branch. We opted for nolen gur er sandesh. The quality was good and the sweets were very tasty. We will try more varieties again.

Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to bring to your attention an issue regarding unhygienic conditions observed at Suresh Sweet Shop. During my recent visit, I noticed cockroaches coming out from the wall near the area where sweets are kept. This is a serious concern as it poses a risk to public health and food safety. The presence of pests in a food handling area indicates poor hygiene and sanitation practices. I kindly request you to inspect the shop and take necessary action to ensure cleanliness and proper pest control measures are maintained. It is important that food items are stored and handled in a hygienic environment for the safety of customers. I hope you will look into this matter urgently and take appropriate steps. Thank you. Today I was truly shocked by the behavior of the Suresh sweet shop. My two-year-old son’s finger got stuck in their glass door, and he was crying badly. Instead of helping, they told us to take care of our child ourselves and said that the glass was not broken, as if that was the only concern. Their behavior was ridiculous and completely lacking basic humanity.
