Finally we got a good vegetarian restaurant in howrah. Swad Desi has amazing food items which rarely found in any restaurant in kolkata. We tried Sabudana Khichdi, Vada Pav & Aloo paratha which are tasty and very good in quantity. I wish they add some more curry items so we can visit this place again & again.

Me and my friend went for dinner yesterday. We had ordered chole bhature, Dahi vada and cheese dosa. I must say all dishes are extremely delicious and tasty. Also food quantity is good. I highly recommend this place for quality food in pocket friendly budget

Really loved this place and the food..ordered cheese paratha along with pav bhaji and it was super fresh and delicious. Nice concept and quick service complement the taste. Strongly recommend a visit. Keep up Swad-desi..👍

I was in search for a quality food which I got here. Tried Maharashtrian items which were amazing. The real desi tadka is present in Swad-Desi restaurant. Keep up the taste and quality

Very nice place to have veg food, staffs behaviour are too polite and the food quality is very good for the price they charged. Overall superb Veg Restaurent must visit

Finally a good vegetarian restaurant in howrah. They serve delicious snacks and chaat items. Also many course are very tasty. Must recommend to visit this place.

Panner Butter Masala & Veg Pulav, Amazing test and great quantity. Vada pav is just Rs. 30. Superb guys. keep it up

I took a parcel from here today. Packed Vada sambhar. Food was really bad.First time in my life I had south Indian cuisine without a single curry leaves.One of the chutney served was stale, so had to throw it.Another while color chutney which is supposed to be coconut chutney was inedible. Sambhar was prepared wth chana daal ! Literally a Bengali cholar daal wth a little sour taste! I spend 100 rs for 2 plates of sambhar Vada , agreed it is less but i regret spending that for this bad quality food. The Vada probably had a besan coating around it, as tasted weird but the size of it was huge . Like one Vada and it will be a full meal ! If u r serving food then please be aware of its recipe. Not authentic but atleast stick to basics. Thank you so much and sorry for such harsh words i was really disappointed !
