very good place to relax and have food we tried the Thai red curry. the preparation was very authentic and freshly prepared. Schezwan fried rice and chilli blast chicken also was very good

Finally a pocket friendly yet bright & lively eatery near the Esplanade metro station Gate 4 with ample room to serve the huge crowd of shopping enthusiasts & travellers of overnight buses from the Esplanade bus terminus. This food court has recently opened beside V-Mart in the ground floor of Metropolitan Building, where once used to be the middle class favourite Big Bazaar. As any other food courts, TFP the Foodplex also has multiple counters of various food vendors. Since this is brand new with barely any rise in footfall & we being the 32nd customer, we played safe and ordered simple food like Plain Paper Dosa & Chicken Tikka Pizza. Dosa was really nice and crunchy. The cooked Pizza dough was thick & rubbery which was a clear indication of it being ready to use pizza base. But given the price, we couldn't have ask for more. Overall it was a satisfactory experience. Will definitely visit it again on my next visit to Esplanade.

I visited TFP Esplanade and had one of the worst customer experience. I had requested the staff to pack the food which I had not eaten and touched to which they denied. They gave the reason that they don’t pack what the customer does not eat and is left. Later the Manager started shouting and arguing with us that it is in their terms and conditions not to pack the food. He said that he has worked in Taj Bengal and same happens there. I really don’t understand the comparison between TFP and Taj Bengal. Every restaurant in Kolkata packs food which is not eaten. I was thinking of coming again with friends but now have changed my mind due to this experience. WORST.

This place is worse than street hawkers when it comes to customer satisfaction. No wonder it's empty even during a busy festival time. They served 1 small spoon chutney with dosa for which I paid 110rs. And when I asked for a little chutney, they told it's extra. Even a roadside stall wouldn't behave this way.
