Dak bunglow Mutton & Chicken both were brilliant. Basanti and Dhakai Pulao were also good. The top of the list items were Gondhoraj Chicken in starter, Ilish bharta and Kachu pata chingri among chef's special. Service was also swift. Avoid Mutton bhuna that was below par.

Visited Bhoj Company in Salt Lake recently and had a mixed experience. The quality of the fish and vegetarian dishes was impressive—fresh, flavorful, and cooked with authentic Bengali touch. Special mention to the mustard-based preparations and the seasonal vegetables, which truly stood out. However, the mutton dish was a letdown. It wasn’t well-cooked and lacked the tenderness and richness you’d expect from a traditional Bengali mutton curry. Hoping they take note and improve this, as the rest of the meal showed a lot of promise. Overall, a decent place for fish and veg lovers, but the non-veg options (especially mutton) could use some improvement.

They need to put a little extra effort to stay true to their ancestral heritage....while almost all the food we ordered literally spilled over too much oil than taste, ambience resonates absolute bong vibes

This was my first visit to the Sector 5 outlet of Bhog Company, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience. Despite the restaurant being almost empty on a quiet afternoon, no staff approached us for nearly 15 minutes after we were seated. We had to request a menu ourselves, and when we finally got it, the waiter seemed in a hurry, almost pressuring us to place the order quickly. Once the order was placed, it took almost an hour to serve a single meal with two sides. I also ordered a fresh lime soda, which was overwhelmingly concentrated with lime. Upon requesting a fix, they simply added sugar syrup (about 30 ml), which only made it worse. The lack of hospitality and poor service really stood out — it felt like the staff was least interested in making the dining experience pleasant. Definitely not what I expected.

We order thalis & it took more than 30 minutes to serve the same even the Mutton was completely cold don’t know the reason & also didn’t understand why we were not allowed to pay through Zomato
