Their momos are definitely something to drool for! Wonderfully curated momos at it's best is what Blue Poppy Thakali Express is all about! Pricing is kept on the lower end as well. Pair up their momos with a cols drink & you're good to go! Highly Recommended.

Thakali offers a wider range of eatable than the blue poppy restaurant itself. I’ve had a pleasant experience whenever I have been to thakali express. This is a place which offers you a number of Nepali cuisines, which I tell you is very mouth watering. Let’s talk about the ambiance first, the restaurant is divided into two sections, a normal dinning room with a capacity of 12-15 people, the latter is a sitting area where you are suppose to eat the food in a padmasana position , they provide you with a pillow to rest on. There exists a homely vibe to the restaurant hence it allows the people to enjoy their meals as well as their conversations. I would also like to point out that the staff though very cooperative are not that professional in ways that they are required to be as at the end of the day people would like to be treated good if they are willing to shed out money from their pockets. The pricing of the menu is not very pocket friendly, but the amount of food served is more than average of what you normally expect. Lastly, I find this place as a good option mainly because even though it’s pretty close from Park Street , the location of the restaurant is far away from the chaos of traffic and crowd.

Please note the rating is not based on the food but the service. They take your order and confirm and after half an hour they will inform some of the items are not available! They will then suggest to take something completely random, like instead of chili pork take chicken shapta. Please call the place before placing order through Zomato else you will have to settle for something which you didn't want!
