Had a fabulous family lunch with my wife and parents at The Orient (CC1) for their "Bangkok meets Kolkata" festival! At Rs 1300/head, the food was spectacular—the Thai coconut prawn soup was perfectly balanced, the pad thai and massaman chicken curry paired beautifully, and the Thai basil mutton was the absolute standout. The orange fizz mojito and transfusion mocktails were highly refreshing, and Rajib provided excellent, attentive service. The only letdowns were that they surprisingly ran out of both festival desserts during prime Sunday hours (though the main menu's creme brulee was fantastic) and the in-house washroom urgently needs servicing. Still, a highly recommended food festival for the flavors alone!

Worst buffet till date, very limited options. The soup option was only veg, with chicken shreds and egg julien kept separately to put in the soup and make it non veg. Both rice and noodles were veg only options. Darsan & ice cream: Darsan was stuck to the pot and broken into small bits and pieces. Ice cream was missing from the table, so I requested 2 servers to get me some, which never came. Overall a bad experience, with poor food, limited options for a price of 799++. Pls explore other buffet options, can be avoided.
