This is a restaurant in hotel Taj Bengal. The ambience is unique and sophisticated. The food is delicious and the service is satisfactory. They gave a birthday cake as surprise gift because it was my Mom's birthday. I was overwhelmed with this act of kindness. Thanks to all the staffs of this restaurant.

The most luxurious hotel with the most courteous staff. The best coffee available in the lounge. The Jamaican Blue is the real blend of the best coffee beans which extracts the real aroma of the coffee giving it a rich Caribbean taste.

I had the signature Hub mudpie. Absolutely gooey, chocolaty and full of calories. Have a sweet tooth and don’t mind loosening up your wallet? Head right to the Promenade, Taj Bengal.

Taj Bengal offers an unparalleled atmosphere right from the moment one steps into the lobby. It has the perfect setting for a relaxing cuppa in The Promenade Lounge to chat away a sluggish evening. The menu is quite diverse from Italian, Indian, to even desserts but I usually end up ordering appetisers to go with the coffee. One of the items worth mentioning is a delicious Homemade Mezze with salads and dips and the works. The presentation of their appetisers is usually simple, nothing elaborate but well portioned and tasty. However, one beverage I personally disliked is the Mushroom Cappuccino as the flavour of the mushrooms was too overpowering to be enjoyable. There was none of the creamy richness that has come to be associated with the soup and instead had a bitter aftertaste that may justify the cappuccino name but not its effect on the palate. The service has a relaxed pace that suits the mood of the patrons of the Lounge who are usually seen just hanging out. The place can be termed expensive but considering it’s a five star property and not an everyday dining joint, one would expect as much. Overall one can drop by occasionally for the ambiance and hospitality that is a Taj signature.

After entering from the main entrance of Taj Bengal if you want to relax, sit with friends, in short just spend some time unwinding over a cup of coffee, tea and some light snacks , The Promenade, with its awesome ambience is the perfect place. Love the ambience here, it's simple, classic and elegant. Most times there are artworks on display of some artist or the other, whom they might be promoting. Sometimes well known, most times new talent. Often the artist might also be there adding colour to his/ her painting with strokes of the paint brush. Good coffee and good snacks served here. Service good, somewhat slow but that's ok, helping us to sit back and enjoy ourselves. Do visit for the atmosphere and experience.

This is my go-to restaurant for mud pie. The mud pie here is balanced and for a 5 star property prices are reasonable. Cold Coffee is great too. The ambience is nice and the staff are very courteous. I didn't like the abc juice because I thought they had diluted the drink a little too much. Apart for that small hiccup this is a must visit restaurant.

This year, on Valentine's day, went to this place at city's heritage Taj Bengal Hotel. Firstly the hotel is gorgeous, and The Promenade Lounge is at their lounge area. The lounge is overall open, with no such boundaries from other sections of the hotel, as a lounge should be. It remains open all day, so you can visit anytime of the day. We had tried a dessert(eclair), ice tea and french fries. Price of the food items is okay according to the place, but dessert quality can be improved.

I love the lounges at all of the luxury Taj properties. There’s always this old school character and charm to them. Simply beautiful! Found myself here in the beginning of Dec last year when the Christmas vibrancy was in full swing. Not a dull nook or corner in sight. Anyway, I got myself a table with a charging socket near the Promenade Lounge’s display counter. I wanted a drink but they didn’t serve alcohol in the lobby. So I just ordered a couple of things to eat. 1. Foxtail Millet and Avocado Salad - 4/5, refreshingly healthy and delish. 2. Veg Sandwich - I would rate this in negative if it was possible. Look at the picture I’ve attached here and tell me how can a lousy and poorly made sandwich like this be sold for ₹875++. It’s preposterous! Simply the ugliest and horribly made sandwich I’ve ever been served in my life - at an ICONIC Taj property too! There was no effort put into this as you can see!
