A Nostalgic Gem in Kolkata - Tibetan Delight Rating: 4.5/5 Tucked away in the heart of Kolkata is Tibetan Delight, a quaint Chinese and Tibetan restaurant that has been serving up delicious eats for years. This old-school eatery is a nostalgic favorite among locals, and for good reason. Ambiance: 4/5 The restaurant's decor may not be fancy, but it has a certain charm that immediately makes you feel at home. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family. Food: 4.5/5 We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was a hit. The pork kothay, baby corn, and chicken steam momo were all flavorful and expertly prepared. The chicken fried momo and chicken drumstick were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. For our main course, we opted for the mixed gravy noodles and chilli chicken. Both dishes were generously portioned and packed with flavor. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the chilli chicken was spicy and savory. Value for Money: 5/5

Tibetan Delight is a super old-school, authentic Chinese eatery that really impressed us with its fresh and flavorful dishes. We tried the Mix Manchurian Soup, packed with plenty of pork and chicken, and it was super fresh. We also had the Dry Chilli Chicken and Mixed Gravy Noodles, both of which were absolutely delicious. The best part? The total bill for two of us was only around ₹700, which is such a steal for the quality and quantity we got. The only downside is the seating—it’s really small and cramped, so they could definitely benefit from expanding. But overall, the food is totally worth it!

Food is the best part. Order momos, soups and even other starters. They taste super and awesome. Try not to order main course if you are not really are biased for heavy food, they taste so-so or just ok. Service is very bad. They do not serve water or even ask for serving. The owners are the only servers and they are super busy. They should add hands to the business. Some more seating can be arranged. Since there are couples visiting some 2 seating arrangements can be added. Location is the worst part. You can even smell the sewerage drain. Atleast the entrance can be remodeled.

A pocket friendly Asian cuisine eatery near to Exide crossing. It’s been quite a hectic task to locate it initially but hit it off well among us during our JR days, owing to its pocket pinch & steaming hot, juicy Kothey momos. The starters are always above average. On a brief note, after a tiring day, if you opt for a quick, fulfilling lunch or an evening gossip with your bestie while munching on some delectable snacks, this place may work wonders! Note: There are severe hygiene issues & the waiting hours are prolonged. Don’t expect top notch, premium quality food.

এক্সাইড এর Tibetan Delights রেস্তোরাঁয় আজ এক ভয়াবহ অভিজ্ঞতা হয়। যারা গেছেন তারা সবাই জানেন যে রেস্তোরাঁটি ছোট এবং সেখানে ওয়েটিং এর লাইন থাকে। আমি আর Indrasekhar Sengupta আজ সন্ধ্যে ৭টা নাগাদ সেখানে যাই। দুটো গ্রুপের পরে আমাদের টার্ন ছিল। আমাদের এবং ওখানে ওয়েটিং বাকি সবাইকেই বলা হয় যদি শেয়ার না করতে চান তাহলে ওয়েট করতে হবে। সেই কথা মত আমরা প্রায় আধ ঘণ্টার ওপর ওয়েট করি। যখন টেবিল পাই এবং খাবার অর্ডার দিয়ে বসে আছি, হঠাৎ জোর করে আমাদের বলা হয় টেবিল শেয়ার করতে হবে। আমরা জানাই প্রথমেই আমাদের বলা হয়েছে শেয়ার করতে না চাইলে ওয়েট করতে হবে, এবং সেইমত আমরা ওয়েট করেছি এতক্ষণ। তখন রেস্তোরাঁর মালিক এসে আমাদের খাবার ক্যান্সেল করে আমাদের বেরিয়ে যেতে বলে। এখানে উল্লেখযোগ্য ওনাদের যারা ধরাবাধা খদ্দের, তাদের টেবিলে কিন্তু উনি এই টেবিল শেয়ার করার জোর জবরদস্তি করেননি। আমরা জানতে চাই উনি এই অ্যাটিটিউড কেনো দেখালেন, উনি বলেন উনি যেহেতু রেস্তোরাঁর মালিক তাই উনি যা খুশি করতে পারেন। উনি আমাদের খাবার দেবেন না। এবং আধ ঘণ্টা ওয়েট করে খাবার না দিয়ে বের করে দিয়ে উনি এক ফোঁটাও অনুতপ্ত নন।

We had ordered their pan fried momo with chili pepper chicken(their recommendation) and chili garlic chicken (their recommendation) and mix fried rice. Firstly the momo were nicely seasoned but on a chewy end, and the chilli pepper chicken was not upto the mark though the taste was ok ok but the chicken it self was overcooked till it was chewy till the jaw hurts. The rice was again well seasoned but we weren’t informed that they had perished their stock of prawns and we weren’t informed only served egg chicken rice and charged for mix rice. And then comes the chili garlic chicken it was very chewy no seasoning what so ever and the taste was only chilli and nothing else. Overall we didn’t have a good experience

Extremely disappointing experience. There is a very dirty open drain right in front of the waiting area, creating a strong foul smell and highly unhygienic surroundings. The smell was so bad that we almost felt like vomiting. The momos we ordered were just average, but the chicken lollipop was very poor, and the chilli garlic noodles were the worst—tasting more like plain vinegar chowmein. The staff and even the owner behaved rudely and unprofessionally. Such poor hygiene and food quality should be looked into by the food safety authorities.

Review: I’ve been visiting this restaurant for a while, but the service has been consistently disappointing. The staff doesn’t manage the queue properly, ignoring customers who have been waiting and letting others in first. When confronted, they dismiss concerns instead of taking responsibility. The food was overly oily and nothing special—I've had much better Chinese food nearby. Given their lack of customer care and poor service.

yesterday I have ordered mix mefoon& chicken steam momo .food quality is very low rather than previous .bad smell release from mix mefoon.may be from chicken portion.shrimp not fresh .after taking this food , me and my colleague has suffering severe indigestion and vomiting last night.don't go high expectation
