Located in Patuli, Kolkata this place is a go to place for Chinese lovers. The ambience is very pleasant, courteous staffs and good service. Overall good dining experience. Keep it up.

Yuan is a very favourite choice of ours' for Chinese food. We even threw our friends aiburobhaat over here. Their outlets are a little cramped but taste of food is good.

I've been to Yuan twice now, and I'm still not sure what to make of it... The name 'Yuan' has always intrigued me (I love the names of Chinese provinces)... Props to the person who named it... Inside, the ambiance is predictably nice... The decor is simple yet effective... No unnecessary frills... The lighting was perfect, dim enough to hide your existential dread but bright enough to see your food... Ordered Mixed Chilli Garlic Fried Rice and Chilli Pork Dry... They absolutely nailed the rice... It was so flavourful that I didn’t even reach for the vinegar, and trust me, that’s saying something... The pork, though, was a bit of a miss for me... I prefer leaner cuts and missed that smoky punch... Plus, pairing it with the rice wasn’t the best call... They seemed to clash instead of complementing each other P.S. Don’t leave without trying their tea... A soothing cup of zen to wash away the minor disappointments

Food quality was very good however one of the female service personal serving our table was in super hurry,She was in no mood to wait while serving,she almost forcibly served the second starter next she almost snatched my son's plate seeing it empty but we were sharing food and told her repeatedly not to do this and serve when asked but she continued the same only thing the perso who welcomed us was courteous enough but even no reaction was there after we told them about her behaviour. If the Service attendant becomes a bit patient while guests are eating, it will be good.

we went there yesterday for dinner the ambience is good and service is excellent but the food 😮‍💨 it was totally disaster 😥. we order one chicken salt and paper it was good but the main course😖 we order one veg fried rice one chicken fried rice tausi also known as douchi chicken and hupak chicken... both of the rice there is no seasoning no flavour even first time when the serve which fried rice it was burns . and the chicken dishis both are same one just the thing is one is tangi and another one is spicy nothing special.. and the price is unexpectedly high it's not worth. 🙅

Visited Yuan today and to say that it was a terrible experience is an understatement. Starting with the ambience, there was insufficient air conditioning making the place suffocating and dingy. The food was below average to downright disgusting. We ordered Chicken Hot and Sour soup which was loaded with a tangy sauce, 2/5 rating. Then for starters, we ordered Golden Fried Prawns which had a thick batter coating and no seasoning in the prawns, 1/5 rating; for the Chilli Garlic Pepper Fish in Bhetki version, it was just 6-8 tiny pieces of poorly coated Bhetki fish tossed with dried up onions and little capsicum, absolutely not worth the price, 1/5 rating. Main course was horrible. The Chicken Hakka noodles was over boiled and too salty, the Hot and Garlic chicken was tasteless, the Sizzling Chilly Chicken Dry was made using stale Chicken which made the pieces too hard and stretchy to chew...God knows how old the Chicken might have been. To top it all, we had ordered for thumbs up and the glass in which it was served had a dead fly stuck to the glass from the inside..unfortunately we noticed it a bit late because the dark cola was concealing the dead black fly on top of the glass from inside..this horrible experience costed us 3k...complete wastage. We gave the manager a feedback while coming back and would like to give a feedback to the owner as well...please look into the management of the restaurant. WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK! OVERALL 0.5/5 RATING...

yesterday we went to Yuan. I ordered chilli honey fish and received chilli garlic pepper fish. My husband ordered another fish item and paid for Bhetki got basa. it was a disaster. Yuan is offering the Set Puja menu still unable to manage. If your fnb production does not have the capacity don't go for extended hours and leave a bad impact on your regular guests. Work on your kitchen operation plan. will never return to Yuan. Before you visit think twice.

Food is okayish not worthy at all... the butter garlic squid was way too salty. Ambience was quite noisy, Hindi songs played loudly for hours due to someone's anniversary and birthday which was kind of annoying. We had to change the place due to the party. They even forgot to serve our drinks later on they served it after reminding them. Worst experience ever.

I would like to share my experience at Yuan, So that others are aware before deciding to dine here. Food was not up to the mark. It’s very normal..the food doesn’t justify the high price. Even the ingredients used in the food are not good from start to finish, a complete disaster.

insufficient air-conditioning. The manager denied any better alternative places to sit. I had to leave immediately even after booking the place. Very bad experience. I would advise others not to visit this place, especially during the summer and monsoon.
