I've been to the Douglas restaurant a few times with family as this is one of the upscale restaurants in town. Last time i went, I had mutton chaps, chicken makhanwala, tangdi kebab and caramel pudding. Mutton chaps felt like there was no life in the curry, it had no spice at all even though mentioned it would be. Chicken makhanwala was buttery as expected, a little but too rich maybe. Tangdi kebab was supposed to arrive before the main course but that did not happen and it came after which is just sad for hotel with three stars or something apparently. Well, atleast the dessert caramel pudding was in generous quantity and it tasted as should, probably the quantity was enough for two. Overall the ambience is good as long as the phone doesn't constantly keep ringing in the background.
