Really great vibe, I was 45 mins late for my seat reservation due to traffic but staff were happy to adjust for me. I had a lovely Aztec cold coffee and avocado hummus and pitta that was seemingly freshly made. Even though it was quiet during the afternoon it made a great change and I’m glad the staff were quite relaxed and professional. It’s a bit pricier than most places but you pay for a great service, quality food and a treat compared to the usual daily affair as a traveller. Hope to come back 🌈

This is my favourite cafe in bombay, i’m a frequent for years now; all the boys are very sweet (sesil, rahul, akshay, vinay); they always absolutely nail your food and drinks and the ambiance is very creative/artsy.. If you had to choose only one place to go to in bombay, go here, read a book and be treated like royalty :)

The Buffalo Soldier medium rare is excellent. Served with mashed potato and garlic beans, it hits the right spot. The comic library in the basement is a really cozy reading space.

Leaping Windows is a popular cafe situated in Versova, Andheri. I had read about it on blogs and Instagram, so I decided to check it out. The cafe is nicely designed, with comic character sketches covering the walls. They have multiple seating options - chairs and tables, beanbags, and sofa. I would say it is a cozy place to work or relax with a book. While the interiors were interesting, the cafe felt darker than I expected, even though I visited in the afternoon. Maybe adding some better lighting would brighten things up. I ordered a Margherita pizza, but it was just okay. After that, I didn’t feel like ordering anything else. The staff seemed a little tired and unwelcoming. There was also a delay in bringing the bill, so I ended up going downstairs to pay. Maybe it wasn’t the best day to visit. The food was average, and I found the prices a little on the higher side for what was offered. Quality: 3/5 Quantity: 4/5 Service: 2.5/5 Price: ₹500 for 2 people For more food reviews, follow @chefvaidehipathare on Instagram!

The vibe of the place was nice but the food was pathetic. I went after 10pm so the comic book library was not open. We ordered food worth 2K but they were tasteless

visited Leaping Windows, Versova yesterday and was quite disappointed with the way we were treated. While we were already seated, enjoying our food and drinks, we were asked to get up from our table and move to a much less comfortable table so that another group with the same number of people could be accommodated. This was despite there being available space in the café. As paying customers who had arrived earlier and were still actively dining, being asked to shift tables midway through our visit felt extremely rude and inconsiderate. It made us feel as though our comfort and patronage were less important than that of guests who had arrived after us. I’ve always appreciated the atmosphere at Leaping Windows, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. I hope you will reconsider how such situations are handled in the future, as asking guests to relocate unnecessarily is not in keeping with the hospitality one expects from an establishment like yours.

The smell of the non veg dish ordered at the next table was over powering. Ventilation is poor or non existent. so we had to get the ordered food packed to eat at home. on opening the package, we still saw some pieces which LOOKED AND SMELT like non veg . we had to throw away the package. we will NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR VEGETARIANS.
