Located at the intersection where Zangsti Road and Fort Road meet, this eatery is hard to miss. It has a small indoor sitting area with tables ideal for small groups of four or less. They have some baked products on display on one side of the room. I tried the almond cake on a previous visit and it was quite good. This time, I brought my friends along so we could try some dishes on the menu. The menu has a large selection ranging from breakfast meals to Indian, Chinese, Italian, and Continental cuisine. My friends ordered a Chicken Sizzler and a Pepper Garlic Steak, and I asked for a normal Chicken Steak. We also got two Lemon Sodas and a Ginger Mint Honey tea. I had read some reviews online of the restaurant, so I was expecting a long wait. The restaurant was quite full although it was around 3 PM by then. After a while - I didn't check how long - our drinks arrived. They looked pretty normal, nothing fancy, and tasted exactly as their names suggested. We sipped and chatted, our hunger growing stronger by the minute. Being right next to the main road, there are many things to watch while waiting for your food. We even saw a car bump into an elderly-looking tourist. The car was moving slowly, so the man did not get badly injured. Finally, our plates of food arrived. The restaurant did not have mashed potatoes to accompany our dishes, so we all got fries. Another amusing addition was the fried rice that came with the steaks and veggies. Never seen that before. Personally, I thought the sauce went very well with the steak, but the steak itself was of average size. The fries were soft enough, but the veggies were quite flavorless. My friends, on the other hand, found the taste and quality not up to the mark. The restaurant has a wide range of dishes on offer, so it would be unfair to judge them based on the three dishes that we tried. I think it is one of the eateries worth checking out in Leh. Our bill came to Rs. 1522, including tax. Note to management: The menu has some words that have been spelled incorrectly.

The cafe was full when we arrived. So had to wait for like 10 min to get our seats. We went there to try out yak cheeze pizza after a high recommendation from one of my friends. And I was excited to see the crowd there. Though it didn't live up to the expectations. We ordered one doughnut and one yak cheeze pizza both of which were very dry. Pizza was filled with cheese only and we had to ask for extra toppings. Pizza base wasn't great either - looked like the ones which we get from any general store. We also noticed guests from few other tables leaving their meals unfinished. I would probably recommend Rabsal cafe if you want to have a good Pizza instead of Gesmo.

we went to this restaurant after hearing alot from the people. When we entered only 2 tables were occupied and still the order took 30 min to arrive on the table. Food tasted average and the coffee was good.

I went there after reading praises on TripAdvisor but pathetic behaviour of the staff really puts you off. It's as if they are doing you a favour by going there. If at all you are considered worthy enough to be served by the staff there, food is ok (be patient though, they take their own sweet time to serve you). Getting the bill is another long wait. Won't be going there ever again.

3 of us went for dinner and ordered a laffa, shapta tingmo and a burger. We all got an upset stomach after it and fell sick. Not worth it.

Served non veg food to me, a vegetarian. Pure sacrilege!! Really pathetic service. Don't come by the vibe the service and food is awful.

The steak was served cold, the chicken sizzler was bland and when u give review the staff just ignores and ask to check next time.
