We switched tables 2 times for a better ambience and spacious experience and the polite staff obliged! The staff recommended shushi was delicious and whatever we tried was recommendable 👍🏻 Overall a great experience!

The ambience was fantastic. Lobster was too little in quantity for the price. Chicken flat noodles were brilliant. Litchi mocktail was too sugary.

Visited Eight recently and had a really good experience overall. The ambience was beautiful, and the service was pretty decent too. The only downside was that the restaurant doesn’t have its own washroom, so guests have to use the mall’s washroom, which is located outside the restaurant. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but definitely something to keep in mind. 🍣 Katsu Chicken Uramaki Roll – 10/10 What an absolute banger! I was honestly scared to order this because I’ve never liked sushi before, but this completely changed my opinion. It was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly delicious. If you’re visiting Eight, this is a must-have. 🥟 Chicken Hot Basil Dumpling – 6/10 The dumplings were decent but a bit too bland for my taste. Since I love spicy food, I kept waiting for that spicy kick, but it never came. I even tried adding the sauces, but somehow it still didn’t hit the spot. It wasn’t bad, but I probably wouldn’t order it again. 🍊 Mandarin & Chilli – 4/10 This was the biggest disappointment. I ordered it expecting something refreshing and flavorful that would awaken my taste buds, but it didn’t deliver. The presentation looked really cool, and that’s honestly what earned it a few extra points. Otherwise, I’d recommend skipping this one. 🥯 Grilled Chicken Bao – 8/10 Really good and super filling! The bao was soft, the chicken filling was tasty, and overall it was a satisfying dish. I’d definitely order this again on my next visit. 🦞 XO Lobster – 5/10 It was my first time trying lobster, so I ordered it just for the experience. It was cooked properly, but the meat had a slight aftertaste that I couldn’t quite describe. It also felt a bit chewy from the inside. After a few bites, I realized it just wasn’t for me. Maybe lobster simply isn’t my preference, but based on this experience, I don’t think I’d order it again. ⭐ Overall Rating: 3/5 The ambience, service, and a couple of standout dishes made this a memorable meal. The Katsu Chicken Uramaki Roll completely stole the show, and the Grilled Chicken Bao was another dish I’d happily order again. While the dumplings, drink, and lobster didn’t match my taste, I still enjoyed the overall experience.
