In the food lovers city ,Lucknow like other favourites ,Sheermal Roti is equally popular.This sweet bread is eaten with Kababs and other delicacies.The lucknowi sheermal with distinct saffron color,milk is different in texture and taste from Old Delhi Sheermals and also the popular Allahabadi Sheermals.Sheermals are also eaten in eve ings with tea at many homes.In old city Nakhas area,there is a lane dedicated to sheermals,also called Sheermal Waali Gali.Went to the lane and was fascinated by so many shops with tandoors baking fresh sheermals on bulk order.We visited to Mohd.Jaan Sheermal shop and asked for 1 sheermal which was served piping hot.The sheermal was so soft and tasty that even without any accompanied dish,it tasted yumm!!
