The best chaat in the entire world. Nothing comes close to its authentic taste. It is always overcrowded with the loyal customers. I have been there for the past 25 years and never ever heard a bad word about it.

Had papdi chat and dahi Batashe at one of the iconic place in hazratganj PAPDI CHAT : This one is fully loaded with fresh curd and red chutney. The papdi was so flavourful and crispy topped with spicy aloo. Although we made ours less spicy but the one they originally serve contains dry ginger powder to make it tasteful and spicy. Whole chat is then served with green coriander and dry spices Dahi Batashe : found it much overpriced like just 4 Batashe for rs 45. And their taste was like very normal one can have for rs 10. King of chaat is 75 years old shop and it has been 40 years they've shifted to hazratganj. Although I find this a bit overpriced but still If you are in hazratganj then this place is a must try.

They serve you and the gentry of eluwgent people you ll find there.. Really you ll love to visit again and again. Be sure to reach before 7pm else nobody can ensure the availability of chat.. People finish too early and they are the King of Chat.. Maintained their quality, don't believe to increase the numbers.

Really great experience overall. I tried the dahi batasha, papdi sonth, Pani batasha and tikki. Love the papdi and batashe, everything was freshly prepared and truly wonderful. There's space of seating as well which is always a plus! Worth visiting.

Had heard a lot about this place but my experience wasnt that great, went for the golgappas. It was filled with people waiting for thier turn, it me 10 minutes to get my plate of golgappa but the golgappas were not crispy at all, when i asked for the same it didn't matter to them as they were over busy with crowd. The taste was soso and nothing great. Its just that is a landmark in itself as this brand is approx 80 years old. Must visit for the fun of visiting an 80 year old chat brand which is very famous in lucknow.

We had a run of almost the entire menu in pelting rain under a makeshift cover. The sheer experience of hot tikkis in such weather made it even more special. However the only item worth driving there for is the golgappas which are really simple and really great.

King of Chaat near KD Singh Babu Stadium is an age old Chaat place.Had Dahi Chutney Bataashe,Matar and Palak Ki Chaat.I personally like their Palak Ki Chaat most !

Nothing out of the ordinary. Touts himself as the king of chat but the taste is basically average and can be had across multitudes of stalls across the city. Could have given it an average rating if not for the extremely rude and I'll mannered owner and staff. They seem to be living in a bubble of past reputation and would refuse any request of extra dahi, water, etc. Slightest request out of the standard fare is met with the rudest of responses. Visit if you want an average fare and want to get insulted.

Naam bade and darshan chote.. tried only dahi batasa which was overpriced and was litreally the shittiest i have had. I was so very disappointed. The only good thing was the behaviour of the owner. The dahi batasas were so small and didnt contain any matar or aloo or anything, just dahi n chutney, the dahi itself was very pungent.. really hated my experiance.

Pathetic chat i ever had. They didn't made any justice with their name. Worst experience. Pls don't go with the name. Very bad news disappointed 👎
