I went there on Valentine’s day for a special set menu dinner and was expecting something extraordinary and found everything below ordinary. The food was very average especially the main course, all curries and dal were just bland. The worst thing was their crockery and cutlery. They served food in steel plates and katori like we have at home which was rather shocking. They had some singer who was singing with flat voice which was rather killing the whole vibe and giving headache. I paid 7000 for 2 of us and I wish i could go back in time and stop myself from going there as we were on a holiday here all the way from Bangalore.

If you are looking for a show off that you ate at TAJ, then feel free to visit this place..but if you are someone who enjoys food & want to relish on some awadhi/mughlai food then kindly avoid the place..the food was pathetic & the overall service was super delayed..not what you expect from a fine dine restaurant & specially not what you expect when you are paying high premium for your food..overall I would rate this place & experience 0 out of 5 and would want to forget my visit …I am sure our city of nawabs have food joints which would do justice to awadhi/ Mughlai cuisine.. cheers

Visited on March 4, 2024, and unfortunately, encountered a profoundly unsatisfactory experience. The culinary offerings lacked freshness and flavor, resulting in an absence of enjoyment. Regrettably, all members of the family experienced symptoms indicative of food poisoning. I would advise against visiting if you prioritise both health and financial well-being. It is imperative for Taj to earnestly consider implementing remedial measures to ensure the provision of safe and palatable food offerings, thereby mitigating health risks for its patrons.

Your food which I’ve grown up consuming since I was 6 has gone down in taste and authenticity. The prawns which were over cooked was generously re-offered by your chef to be prepped in Chinese style, the least your team can do is stick to authenticity and the cuisine that you serve. The place was barely half full and yet the service was slow and lacking the ‘Tajness’. It’s a shame to watch a pillar of the hospitality industry crumble, never again.

Taj having such pathetic service is unexpected and unacceptable. They are short staffed and are incapable of handling guests even when 80% of the restaurant is empty. We ordered something but something else came and not once but repeatedly as the servers were incapable of even understanding basics. Its Taj but sadly not Taj standard.

food was horrible, I won't suggest to come here. Compared to Delhi Taj, Lucknow one don't stand out at all. Very disappointing experience when it comes to food. Very average.

Overall service was only satisfactory even the Seats were soaked with water and lemon was clearly visible.
