I went there with recommendation from every other person from lucknow. The most overhyped restaurant ever. I went there with a hope to find good and best chaat in lucknow as everyone say instead I was served with the worst chaat in lucknow. The basket chat (most over hyped) is so bad that you feel tired of eating just yogurt with garam masala that's it. It doesn't had any other flavour. The dahi bhala taste exactly same as basket chat they should literally remove that from the menu because it's pointless to keep two dishes with same taste on same menu last we order the spring rolls, the chef doesn't know the difference between the springs rolls and deep fried veg rolls cut into pieces. we also order the tikki chola which was full off garam masala and nothing else and grilled cheese sandwich which was filled with cottage chesse with black pepper and salt. The best thing you can have in this restaurant is water and the wafers they give with sandwiches. this was all about food The waiters are so rude that if you complain about your food they try to gaslight you that you doesn't have a taste buds and you are just overreacting because this is lucknow and here food are served like this(tasteless). NEVER EVER GO THERE

Me and my family went for dinner there and thought of having a good time and food the less we know that it turned out to be the worst time I've ever had in any restaurant I went . Worst Food & the service is even worst the so called managers and staff have no decency to handle the customer and to even talk . Chilly Garlic Noodles was fully of lettuce and veggies and was completely bland in taste, Sizzler was just mere marinated cottage cheese and baby corn and nothing Special Fried Rice was completely out of salt and the only special was it's name and exorbitant price. The USP of Royal Cafe Basket Chat was filled with curd only and nothing worth of Rs 300 + which they ultimately charged me for. I must say the Arrogance of the Hotel Staff was at peak high due to some food bloggers and so called Celebrity Chef they had I would never recommend to anyone to go that pathetic place. 0/5 Not so Royal Cafe.

Purchased Matar Tikki from outlet. The food was stale and had a foul smell. When we called up the outlet they were so damn arrogant that they outrightly rejected our complaint. We told them that we personally got the food packed for home. Such a disgrace this Royal Cafe Chat. please avoid this place if one wants to stay healthy. This quality food is not good for human consumption even animals should not be given this food.

very annoying service person. on asking to parcel my left over basket chat he gave me a box and told me to pack it by myself. First he refused to parcel and said I cant as u r eating straight from the plate and did not serve myself to a different plate. I was shocked at his stupid comment and his audacity to tell his customer this arrogant and not even sorry for his behavior.

The guy probably the manager asked me how many people are there. I said only me. He first said sit here then there and all this nonsense and finally concluded that i cannot have a seat even though a lot of tables were empty and not reserved. Will never visit and would recommend everyone not to!
