After a spectacular darshan at the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, we ended up here for breakfast as we were not very pleased with the complimentary breakfast provided at the hotel that we stayed-in. A trip to Madurai for us is not complete without at least a single meal here at Sabarees, usually tiffin, either breakfast or dinner, but their lunch options are fantastic too. This time we tried an outlet that is slightly away from our regular Sabarees branch and tried out the mini breakfast that had a platter filled with a regular size idly, vadai, a portion of kara pongal, rava kesari, podi, kara chutney and coconut chutney, sambar, potato masala. The hungry bunch that we were started devouring, that large empty space in the platter disturbed us constantly, that is exactly when a hot plain dosa and a poori set was delivered to make this mini breakfast platter complete and satisfying. The medu vada was perfect, with or without the sambar dip, and the kesari was decent. Tastewise, it is one of the best breakfast you can get in Madurai, the kara chutney was absolutely delicious, the idli podi was another stunner too, the poori with the potato masala was so good that we ordered another separate portion to share. I did, as always, got greedy and ordered a onion uthappam to share with wifey and we both loved that one too, the unlimited servings of kara chutney made a lot of difference #apjprecommends Sabarees when you are in Madurai Finally rounded it up with a delicious filter coffee that just made the day perfect and held us full till we packed and drove towards bangalore and reached Namakkal for our lunch around 3 PM

Sree Sabarees has its own brand loyalty & brand naming since couple of good years in Madhurai. This outlet is located in South Western Railway Colony, Town Hall Road where it's quite crowded than usual. I tasted their • Idli & Vada - Soft & Hot Idli with Crispy Vada. It was really a good combination with Samabar & Chutney. • Boori - Two Fluffy & Hit Booris served with Potato Saagu, Samabar & Coconut Chutney. • Ghee Pongal - Regular Authentic Tamil Nadu style Pongal served with Chutney & Sambar. I had expected even better taste. • Ghee Roast - A simple & very good dosa we can order here. It was perfect & crispy enough to enjoy the dosa. • Filter Coffee - Tasty & Good Filter Coffee to end authentic Breakfast. Overall Best option in the locality to have South Indian Breakfast dishes.

Best place for veg ...in madurai.paneer chilli is awesome here.schwzwan fried rice and noodles are good.taste is nice.we order at this place everytime for veg.

Paneer fried rice, Good Taste and final touch of carrot piece is also a good one. Tomato sauce is simply super for this Paneer fried rice. Thanking you

For Pongal and Vada, 2 Chatneys were promised but I only received Sambar. The Pongal was decent but without any chatney, the food was very boring.

The Worst ever hotel I ever visited in TAMILNADU. We went as 4 persons and ordered 4 different foods. we shared food of whatever we ordered among us. While eating the staff came to us saying don’t share foods here. I don’t know what sucking policy it is. As the Ghee rice was too bad, my cousin couldn’t eat it fully and we shared the foods. Though it is bad we never wanted to waste it. And my cousin shared her meals. Full meals means U PPL had some fixed quantity right for each item in the leaf, We didn’t ask any extra katories or rice just because we shared. We shared whatever quantity was served. How come one can come and say like don’t eat it in the middle when someone is in hungry. We paid for what we ordered. We didn’t simply went there and begged that food. To the Hotel staff, and the CAMERA watching SO CALLED HYPOCRITE, You didn’t pay for what we eat. Just because the hotel gained popularity that doesn’t mean you can treat people like this. Learn to have this basic manners before waking up everyday. Because of that We wasted the food for which we paid. I have visited so many restaurants in TamilNadu. In every hotel, they used to say don’t waste food. BUT IN YOURS, YOU NEVER MIND WHETHER IT IS GETTING WASTED OR NOT, ALL YOU WANT IS MONEY FROM EACH PLATE

worst behavior by the staff . management need to educate the staff to behave professionally with the customers . ordered food to take away but they declined the order only after visit to their facility and returned with a deduction of RS. 400 . online food seekers please avoid this hotel until the management take corrective action .

They will not let you eat your food and ask others to wait beside your sofa while you are eating. Very poor crowd management. They will start talking sarcastically if we take more than 5 minutes. One waiter told us to eat for an hour sarcastically. Moreover, food is also very bad.

This hotel offers one of the worst dosas someone can come across. Its baffling to see so much coconut oil being poured over one dosa! Worst ever experience. Can't look at a dosa again without thinking about this!

Totally waste of your money, taste wise low quality food... don't buy this hotel... I am given -5 star is perfect match for this hotel...
