This is one of the best places to have a South Indian meal. I have been eating at modern restaurant since I was 5 years old. It’s been 20 years. There’s consistency in taste and the quantity and quality of food. Some of the old staff are still there and they are so friendly! A must must visit for South Indian food.

A good breakfast place near the Railway Junction( about a KM away). It was suggested by my local friend and he suggested me to taste their Pongal and Vada. I ordered the same. The Pongal was hot and very tasty and the sambar and chutney were also good. The Vada tasted Okay because it wasn't even warm. I ordered a Filter coffee after the meal to wash it down like any South Indian. 😁 The coffee was strong and correct amount of sugar for me. Good traditional breakfast place and don't expect ambience as it is a eat and leave place. Total Bill : Rs.92 (including 5% GST) Pick of the meal : Pongal

We went for lunch here and the food was super yummy.. Its unlimited meals and we can have tummy filled south indian yummy food here.. Felt very delighted after having lunch here.. Rasam wss too good..

The Modern restaurant was really good place and food quality was really very good testing or services is great experience for Modern restaurant stuff so thanks for all stuffing

A very local restaurant near the temple. They serve food fast, the taste is ok. Price is pretty low for budget travelers. I tried the Masala dosa👍👍

If you like the taste of the food in the restaurant, then better order in zomato and eat. This is because if you go there lto eat, then they won't treat you well. They just take the sambar, chutney which were kept and used by the customers in the neighboring table and then force you to have it. You have to ask multiple times and wait for a long time for the waiter to replace with fresh ones for you. And, after doing all these, they will nag you for tips. If you think of going there and getting parcel, then the packaging won't be the same as you get while ordering online and you have to wait for a long time.

The food quality and taste is very poor not even close to an average restaurant I wonder how this restaurant got 4+ rating. The hotel people attitude and service is very bad not treating any of their customers good. Very bad ambience and wash rooms. At the end I was fooled because of zomato rating. Zomato teams has to seriously check their rating mechanism. Very worst experience.

Worst experience I could ever imagine. The staff (laxman) was so rude that they literally told us no food available for us. The manager managing counter did nothing about it. No action was taken, we had to leave restaurant outrageously. A BIG NO to any non Tamilian especially north Indian.

Ordinary ambience and sub-ordinary food. A2B or Sangeetha are way better in both these terms. Be it Dosa, sambhar or chutney, nothing tasted good. This place is too overhyped
