Visited Il Forna recently and tried their Margherita Pizza, white sauce pasta, and masala chai. Here's my take: Margherita Pizza: Absolutely phenomenal! Everything is made in-house – from the cheese to the dough – and the wood-fired preparation takes it to another level. A perfect balance of flavors with a delightful crust. This is a must-try! White Sauce Pasta: Decent but not extraordinary. The flavors were mild, and it lacked the wow factor that the pizza delivered. Masala Chai: Pure bliss, especially in December. With heavy rainfall and snow outside, sipping on their masala chai felt like the ultimate comfort. If you're heading to Il Forna, don't miss their pizza, and pair it with a warm cup of chai for the coziest experience. The ambiance and food make it worth visiting, but the pizza steals the show!

We had visited this restaurant in 2009 when it was setup by an Italian couple. Now we were in Manali in 2023 and thought of revisiting this place. The food quality has gone down and it no longer deserves the steep prices. Easily skip this from your Manali itinerary and trust me you can easily find better places in Manali. Staff seemed disinterested and just went through the notions. Location of this restaurant is awesome, i honestly hope some other venture comes up here and this lousy place shuts down soon..

Ordered veg extravaganza. I never had any pizza tasted worse than this. The base was wet due to some reason and topping are even bad. Please do not come here except for the ambience.

Worst restaurant in manali. Food is pathetic. Both the staff and owner are very arrogant. We ordered Lasagna, pasta and pizza. All the things were very bad especially the Lasagna. When we complained they refused to listen and stated that they have been running the place since 18 years and this is the taste they offer. They tried to force feed there food on us. ‘Either eat it or take it with you’ apparently they also cannot handle the taste of their own food. Please show some kindness to humanity and shut down this place.

We visited this cafe with a lot of expectations and had heard great things about the cafe and it's history. The food was okay but the behaviour of the staff was very rude and unprofessional. Nevertheless if not hospitality at least decent behaviour can be expected.

Ordered ham bruschetta and forno chicken fiesta. It was the blandest 1210 rupee food ever. Just dumped Sauce and cheese on bread (burnt that too) . Horrible
