Our Mangalore trips are incomplete without a trip to Girimanja’s. I can’t get enough of the taste of the masala that coats their fish fry. Recommend their butterfish tawa fry and golden fried prawns, to be finished with their absolutely refreshing bonda lime. To reach the place, please hail an auto rickshaw as the place is tucked away in a quiet and narrow street. You can use Uber or Rapido (a local ride booking app) to book your ride to and from the place to make the travel convenient. There would be very few who wouldn’t know the location of girimanjas as it is iconic to Mangalore.

I’m not a seafood person, but I loved the pomfret and anjal tawa fry! I also tried the chicken ghee roast which was the best I’ve ever eaten. The other thing I want to call out is the service - fast service, great hospitality, they gave us testers to try before we chose the curry. They also we re-heat the fish

Visited this Mangalore Bucket list restaurant. Though a small restaurant in size, there's no compromise on taste & quality of food. The Fish meals is not so expensive but worth the money.. However, the main highlights are their prawn ghee roast & the pomfret masala fry was top notch.! The rasam served was tangy n yumm. A must try restaurant for lunch if you're in Mangalore, looking for a pocket friendly place. You can clench ur thirst with their Buttermilk which is a best-try. Also, on a finishing note their Bonda juice (Tender coconut) is the perfect deal closer here.! Finally not to miss out that the hospitality is over the roof, the staff here serve u like typical homestyle checking with us what is required and any suggestions if any often.. Fresh and delicious fish thali. Loved the prawn fry and pomfret. It's a small place and was crowded, but the service was great and fast.. altogether loved it

There was no queue system, servers are allowing whoever goes and talks to them to get first seats.. literally have no disciple in allotting seats.

The food is great but what put us off was the cleaning lady who was removing the dirty plates, cleaning the tables was also serving food, unhygienic. not going to eat there after seeing this
