My experience at the iconic Shetty lunch home Choose to dine in at this place We were greeted by the owner himself politely n we were seated promptly Ambience-4/5 Simple place no thrills no frills one The ambience is open space roof top and next to it a small AC section Food -5/5 For me the good here at Shetty lunch home is brilliance The chicken ghee roast is some thing one should try This place dishes out the best ghee roast The taste spices are fantastic Ne’er dosa along with it is brilliant combo We tried the paneer ghee roast it’s surprisingly good fresh paneer simple spices Ghee rice was a special touch Service -5/5 The staff are really polite Humble n do their best to ensure we have a wonderful dining experience Vfm -5/5 The prices are not too expensive The food is brilliant every morsel is tasty Authentic fare at its best Do visit

Great Taste Lovely spread on the sea food thali Decent prices All in all a great place. Came here for lunch and tried out the muru mean tava fry, chicken jheena rice & Sea food thali. Everything was great. Sea food thali tasted best. Fish preparation is their speciality

Ordered Kane fry and a fish meal. Good taste. Slow service. Also, the service missed an item that was ordered.

Everything is highly overpriced. We get similar thali for ₹150-170 in Goa for which they charge ₹400. I don’t know if raw material is expensive in mangalore. It is like eating in a whole new country. Their food is good in taste but the prices does no justice to portion size they serve. If you want to eat a decent meal with 2-3 fish items you’ll end up spending ₹700-800 per person.

Think the place overhyped on social media. It’s just like any other restaurant. We ordered for Tawa fry kingfish (think it’s was Rs. 450 a piece) & a rice plate which was Rs. 70/- the slice of fried fish was the as thin as bunch of 3 tissues put together. Taste was average.

Overhyped, overrated place. Food was sub-standard. Fish thali had NO piece of fish. Unbelievably poor and slow service. Highly run-down after covid.

Came with so much expectation but super disappointed with the taste. Was that even ghee roast??!! When I asked the manager he said that’s how it is. Diluted, no spice, no salt, no nothing. You guys are spoiling the brand built. Waste of money and waste of calories.

Worst service. The waiter who doesn't know Tulu was too arrogant. When we asked him to take the order for the 2nd time, he told us you have to order everything at once rudely. The restaurant has to take a note of this as he drives customer away.

Ordered prawns ghee roast. Very less quantity. 7 small pieces for 350. Overpriced and overrated. Awful customer service too.

Never order from this restaurant …. Less quantity n Shetty’s culture ….. just 5 pieces for 200 rupees …..
