The food is truly Parsi and delicious. Love their Dhansak, Pulao, Cutlets n Kebabs. The meals are sumptuous. A must try if you like Parsi cuisine.

I've ordered from Bawi Bride a number of times. When you're a parsi, nothing other than what your granny cooks is worth your time but in this case, I found her food to be delightful and evoked a lot of fond memories. I've even attended one of her cooking classes and I have to say it's made things much easier in the kitchen though honestly it's so much easier to call and order. I"m not a big dhansak fan but for those who enjoy it or have never eaten it, you should give it a try. My personal favourite is the kheema kebabs. I think they're fab and can eat a plateful. The kolmi ( prawn ) curry rice is delicious. It's not like your Goan curry or then the Thai curry but it's a superb Parsi curry. Her lagan nu custard is another fav as is the kopra pak but I think the unusually bright pink colour tends to throw people off, don't be mislead it's a lovely coconut sweet. She does a range of stuff from the standard favs that everyone knows and even some other than most non parsis have no idea about. The community may be dwindling but the food shall prevail for a long time to come! Perzen Patel aka Bawi Bride is making sure the city gets a good, wholesome and homely taste of this wonderful cuisine. Mumbai does not offer most of the authentic Parsi dishes that you will find on Bawi Bride's menu. Kudos to her for having created a spectacular niche for herself. Her Lagan nu Custard is the best you'll ever taste. If you've enjoyed eating Dhansak at Ideal Corner, then her chicken/mutton Dhansak lives up to the same delicious expectations. I've tasted her food several times and never been disappointed. I'm pretty sure you'll feel the same once you've experienced her Parsi treats. PS. She's recently started a tiffin service aptly named #DailyBhonu. The menu is different everyday and she makes sure it does not repeat the entire month. That's what I call being confident, innovative and splendid with variety. :) Twitter: @TaariniNB Instagram: @taarininb

We were craving dhansak for lunch, having been dissapointed by usual options so we decided to try this more homely endeavour. The food arrived warm, rice and dhansak pacled seperately in plastic containers, kachumber in a small foil one. The dhanksak itself was more watery in consistency than i have ever had before in a parsi home or eatery. The chicken rather surprisingly was boneless, it wasn’t dry/overcooked but it lacked flavour. While some homes prepare it spicy and some sweet, this one seemed to be on the neutral side. I do personally prefer it sweeter. And I also didn’t like the consistency, Personally I find a thicker, dal type gravy is more authentic. The rice was fine, prepared with jeera, a bit undercooked/stiff The kachumber was just barely and roughly chopped onions and tomato No cucumber, coriander lime or care of prep. Overall was disappointed, really wanted to like the food and hoped given the background the meal would meet the better reviews here however this particular meal wasn’t it for us. Perhaps other dishes are better or perhaps this was just an off batch but I think improvements can be made.

We ordered Chicken Berry pulao, Salli Boti, Prawn cutlets and Patrani Machi from their Navroze menu. The dinner order was delivered close to 3.30pm. The food was delivered cold and in an unsatisfactory condition. The prawn cutlets were tasteless, undercooked and smelt of egg. The next day my husband ended up with terrible food poisoning. Customer service too was unsatisfactory.Poor quality experience for the prices charged. Avoid if you can!

The worst Russian cutlet I've ever had. It just taste somewhat like potato tikki. With some undercooked chicken pieces here n there..not even worth one star. It's minus stars. N too expensive
