Achija in Kandivali East is one of those classic family restaurants that never disappoints. While it’s most famous for its pav bhaji, my visit turned out to be a complete feast with a mix of flavors. The pav bhaji with butter garlic chutney truly lived up to the hype—rich, buttery, and perfectly spiced, with that chutney taking it to another level. The paneer hotpan was sizzling and full of flavor, while the Mexican cheese roll was cheesy, crunchy, and indulgent. For South Indian cravings, the thatte idli was soft, fluffy, and really comforting. On the drinks side, the pink guava and peach ice tea were refreshing and balanced, and the Kit Kat shake was a fun, chocolatey treat to end the meal. Achija is definitely a place where you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes under one roof, making it perfect for family outings. The vibe is casual, the food is consistently good, and the menu has something for everyone.

I truly cherish my visits to Achija Veg Restaurant in Kandivali. The food is not just tasty but crafted with care and passion. With a diverse array ranging from Punjabi and South Indian to Chinese and snacks, every dish has delighted my palate. The quick service and the courteous staff enhance the experience, while the clean and inviting ambience makes it a wonderful spot for gathering with family or friends. Generous portion sizes and reasonable prices reflect the quality and taste that truly shine. My personal favorites include their crispy dosas and Punjabi dishes. For anyone who embraces a vegetarian lifestyle, this gem stands out as one of the finest in Mumbai! With exceptional hospitality and effective management, the superb staff behavior embodies a remarkable concept that enriches every visit.

The food is really good and staff is polite, I am not sure why people have mentioned that staff is rude. I go there very frequently and feel really good at every visit.

The food was not tasty at all. I ordered paneer thai chilly ... paneer kurkure... dal khichdi ...mushroom soup but neither was tasty. They really need to improve the quality of food

This guy called Pradeep who claims to be the manager here in the restaurant very conveniently been disrespectful towards me because he isn’t trained enough to know well the dishes his restaurant offers. Soo just because he misheard an order I made he very disrespectful came to me claiming that I lied about ordering a dish which I never asked for. Just because the restaurant is jam pack during festivities doesn’t give you the right to talk inappropriately with the customer. Obviously they would not care about this review because they’re definitely doing well in the market. Wish to escalate this issue on higher level as he not only disrespected me once but more than that.

Used to love the unlimited papad they used to offer but now they have suddenly changed the rule at this outlet. The food is decent compared to the price they are charging. Not that worth coming here anymore. I wouldn’t ever return back over here again and suggest anyone to visit if the quality and quantity doesn’t improve.

the manager was so rude and disrespectful. he kept staring at me and my friend and it was so uncomfortable. we were eating and he came to ask whether we're done or not. I mean he could've waited till we are finished eating. (there was no rush at the restaurant)

PATHETIC PLACE. EVERYTIME I WENT THERE, THEIR STAFF SHOWED PROGRESSIVE LEVELS OF RUDENESS. THEY ARE SHAMELESS. NO SENSE TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS. AVOID GOING HERE. THE FOOD IS JUST AVERAGE. YOU WONT MISS OUT ON ANYTHING REALLY.
