Visited AER at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai recently and it was a fantastic experience overall. The space offers two very distinct seating styles, which I really liked. The botanical section has a more relaxed, fine-dining feel with city views, while the main rooftop area has a vibrant, club-like vibe with stunning coastal views, especially around sunset. A nice addition is their new Saturday lunch menu, which makes it a great option even during the day. They also have a retractable roof, which is usually kept shut during daytime hours so guests can enjoy the air conditioning and escape Mumbai’s humidity. By evening, the roof opens up, and you get to enjoy the fresh coastal breeze. When I visited, it was pleasantly breezy and the weather was just perfect, with a beautiful golden sunset adding to the experience. We tried quite a few dishes and most of them were excellent. The nachos with guacamole were fresh and flavourful, the chicken satay was outstanding, and the prawn tempura sushi was a highlight. For mains, the chicken with jasmine rice and fried egg was comforting and well done, and the lamb chops were absolutely delectable. Desserts were equally impressive. The house tiramisu (which can be alcoholic) and the black forest ice cream cake, available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, were both worth trying. The bar experience stood out too. They offer tastings, which is a great touch. I went with a gin cocktail and later chose a red wine after tasting a few options, both of which were excellent. Overall, great food, beautiful views, and a versatile ambiance depending on where you sit. Definitely a place I’d return to.

Food was decent, drinks were really subpar. It was a night before valentines and they tried the valentines menu on us. Quite disappointed. Cocktail skills were really bad. I think OTRA and Americano is much better better than this.

Half the food and drinks menu was unavailable and it took 20-30 minutes to first get the server’s attention and then another 20 mins to get our drink. We could only get 2 drinks in 3 hours because they were either unavailable or just took too long.

Went there on Saturday for my birthday bring in. The ambiance is really up to the point. But they have to work on their vegetarian food. It tastes extremely below par for the charge. I don’t know if the food is to cater foreign guests but the taste is really bad over all. We paid a bomb for two people and left half hungry and unsatisfied. There are way better places serving much better food at half the price. The hype around AER needs to dumb down.

The foood was so bad. Easily the worst sushi I’ve eaten in the city. Paid 9k for a dinner for 2 and I think we expected good food at least. Highly disappointed.
