Bhut jhalokia chicken was light and spicy and the prawn tempura uramaki was awesome! Delhi style butter chicken flatbread was mid and the krapow chicken was flavourful but the rice was a let down.

We had made a booking for 2 and paid upfront 8k for confirmation. As we do not reside in Mumbai we checked the travel time from Napean sea road and planned accordingly. But due to heavy traffic we got delayed. When we arrived at the rooftop aer restaurant we were shocked to hear that our table was released as it was beyond 15 minutes of the booking time. This was totally unwarranted. Though there were empty seats we were not allowed to sit down and given to stand in the bar side. Since we were already tired and hungry we had to stick on. The receptionist was very rude and did not allow us to sit even for a few minutes though there were plenty of vacant seating and our reservation was for two hours. This is highly deplorable where any luxury hotel treats their customers with a sense of priority and dignity. I would never ever visit this hotel again. I would also strongly recommend to avoid this hotel. Very frustrated and disappointed.

My seating arrangement was very bad. It was right in the middle. I had made reservations 4 days in advance. It seemed like they booked Ike’s all the tables and plopped a table right in the middle. I asked to be moved and they says they don’t have any availability. There was table right next to me seats 2 and it was open the entire time. When you go there for ambiance and pay a lot of money and you treated like you do not belong there. I am coming for Chicago to experience India’s fine restaurants. I will not be going there again and I do not recommend it.

Initially we weren't allowed inside because for some reason the restaurant hadn't received our Zomato reservation and they only let us in once I asked how can I get back my cover charge. The food and drinks were also overpriced, honestly the only good thing was the ambience and the view from rooftop.

Maybe AER is too much in demand, but my experience dealing with Mr. Kartik Patel was extremely disappointing. 😕 They don’t call back when they say they will, there’s very little clarity around reservations and cancellations, and the seating policy feels quite arbitrary and undisclosed. I was genuinely looking forward to visiting AER, but after this experience, I’ve completely lost interest. If a place makes you feel unvalued even before you visit, it really isn’t worth it. 👎 Definitely not recommending it. Visit places where your time and interest are respected.

As a 5 star four seasons, the aer Mumbai has the worst hospitality. It’s jut hype nothing else. The ambience is good and view aswell but in the matter of food, hospitality it’s is worst. Never expected this from a 5 star lounge hospitality. Staff least interested to entertain to clients. Everything is just over priced. I won’t suggest anyone to go here.
