Loved this place🩷 such a beautiful, very European vibe We ordered garlic bread, agnolotti pasta (truffle), angel hair aglio olio, honestly, everything was just so good! Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their pizzas 🍕 And please don’t leave without trying their cookie dessert 🩷🍪 — SO worth it!

Best Italian food in the city. Period. Special mention to Poonam, who did a wonderful job looking after us.

Alba Pasta Bar, Worth Every Minute of That Ridiculous Wait Yes, there's a line. Yes, you will stand outside for a solid hour wondering if carbs are really worth this kind of commitment. Yes, you will seriously consider leaving at least twice. Don't you dare. The Chicken Lasagne in Romesco will make you emotional. Smoky, nutty, herb-kissed. The Agnolotti with Black Truffle & Tartufo Cream is their signature and honestly should be illegal pillowy pasta in truffle cream so rich it feels like a personality upgrade. The OrzBhut with Shroom Pâté is deep, earthy and dangerously addictive. The Bhut Jolokia with ghost pepper, confit chicken and scamorza will absolutely destroy you and you will thank it for doing so. And the Alba Garlic Bread? Calling it garlic bread is a crime. It's focaccia royalty, buried under Parmigiano snow and whipped butter dreams. Wash it all down with the Elderflower Lemonade mocktail, floral, sparkling, garnished with an edible flower because they're showing off and they've earned the right to. The service is warm, attentive and genuinely makes you feel like the wait was part of the experience. My waistband and my patience both suffered. Zero regrets.

It’s nice. Not a lot of options for vegetarian, but maybe it’s an experimental menu right now.

Alba is a restaurant that seems far more impressed with itself than any customer reasonably should be. The place operates with an astonishing level of arrogance, as though allowing guests to eat there is some kind of privilege being granted by them. Unfortunately, the actual experience does not come close to justifying this attitude. We were a group of four, and two of us arrived a little early. There were tables clearly available, but the staff flatly refused to seat us until the entire group had arrived. We explained that one of the remaining guests was a pregnant woman who was not far away and walking towards the restraunt. Even then, there was no empathy, no flexibility, no basic human consideration — just a rigid, dismissive attitude dressed up as “policy.” What makes this even more absurd is that Alba does not take reservations. So guests are expected to show up, wait around, deal with their no-reservation theatrics, and then still not be seated even when tables are available until all guests show up. It feels less like hospitality and more like a restaurant manufacturing inconvenience to make itself look more in demand than it actually is. The food does nothing to redeem the experience. At best, it is a 5/10 — completely average and nowhere near good enough to justify the arrogance. The hospitality, on the other hand, deserves less than zero. Alba is a textbook example of hype without warmth, ego without substance, and policy without common sense. Would we ever return? Absolutely not. Would we recommend it to anyone? Not unless they enjoy being treated like an inconvenience.

Quite a disappointing experience for me. We were told there was a 1.5 hour wait, so we went around Bandra relying on the queue tracking link provided, but after a point the link stopped updating. When we returned, we found tables were being given as people arrived, which made the whole waiting system feel unreliable and pointless. The pasta was alright, but I was disappointed with the Tiramisu. I was expecting a classic tiramisu with coffee soaked ladyfingers, but it was served with sponge cake instead, which took away from the authentic tiramisu experience.

Really not worth it. Even before giving us the table we were told to empty it within an hour, as they had only 2 tables in ac. The food was really bland and average options. Really overpriced for such a small and average cafe. Everything was disappointing here.
