Amaru in Bandra is such a refreshing take on modern Peruvian-inspired dining, with a beautiful, contemporary ambience to match. The food is packed with vibrant flavours, creative presentations and interesting textures in every dish. We especially loved exploring their ceviche, Robata-style dishes and their innovative vegetarian offerings. The cocktails are equally well-crafted and add to the overall experience. A stylish spot with great food, excellent service and plenty of dishes worth coming back for. Definitely one of Bandra’s best kept secrets for a memorable dining experience! ✨

Had such a great time at Amaru! The food was absolutely lip-smacking and the cocktails were just as good. Service was quick and the staff made us feel so welcome. Big kudos to the entire Amaru team. Definitely coming back soon!

We had a really good time at Amaru! The service was quick, the staff was warm and friendly, and the food was genuinely good. The team did a great job recommending dishes based on our taste preferences, which made the experience feel more personalized. we had gone on a Monday so we got a very personalized experience as the place was not crowded at all. For starters, we tried the Harumaki (4.5/5), Tempura Yasai Maki (4/5), and Into the Woods (3.5/5). For mains, we had the Exotic Vegetable Curry with the classic Burnt Garlic Rice (4/5) — a combination we really enjoyed. We also tried the Juicy Lucy (3.5/5), though it was slightly sweeter than my preference. Overall, what really stood out was the hospitality and friendly staff — lindi spent 10 mins with us post we paid the bill to click some great picture for us in the unique ambience, they made the whole experience even better. Would definitely visit again!

Amaru was a real revelation. We went here for our anniversary lunch. Although we did not anticipate eating an unlimited set menu (nothing on district while booking prepared us for that) it was quite worthwhile. Although pricier than most other set menus, it was worthwhile as an experience and most of the food was pretty good. But unfortunately the lunch ended on a sour note. Although I wanted to pay on district the manager kept insisting that I had to pay directly to the restaurant since the discount didn’t apply to the Sunday brunch. To make matters more complicated she said if we had paid before 3.45 pm then district would have given us a cash back! But it wasn’t about the discount. The overall condescending manner in which she handled the whole situation turned it into an unnecessary ego battle. And I decided not to forego the discount simply because of her attitude, so I paid through zomato. Definitely a nice place but the senior staff needs better training in handling customers.

We went to this place to celebrate special occasion. Please do ourselves a favour and do not go to this place. Cocktails: We ordered 4 cocktails and not a single one tasted good. They use cheap in-house alcohol and 3/4 drinks were extremely sugary. Food: It was average, doesn’t justify the price. There are 100 other places in mumbai which are premium and stands upto the expectation. Other 5star reviews you see will mostly be fake. There is nothing good about this place other than ambiance.
