Amsul Kitchen, Vile Parle East — Ek chotasa Konkan parlya madhye. Te mhantat na — “Pot bharla, pan man nahi.” Amsul Kitchen la gelo, ani he वाक्य अगदी ताटातून उठून समोर आलं. A tiny, cozy joint… पण चव? जबरदस्त! सुरुवात झाली prawns rava fry ने — खमंग आणि समुद्राची सुगंधी ओळख. मग stuffed chutney pomfret, तिखट-हिरव्या मसाल्याचं वेड लावणारं रूप. Thecha bombil, thecha pomfret, पुन्हा bombil thecha — तिखटाचे फटाके आणि चवींची दंगल. मग आली शोस्टॉपर एन्ट्री: Big Surmai Fry — करकरीत, रसाळ, आणि थेट मनात घर करणारी. यानंतर prawns curry आणि bangda thikale, दोन्हीनी ताटाला कोकणाची शिक्कामोर्तब ओळख दिली. आणि शेवटी? Super Solkadi. तिखटावर मलम, आणि मनाला थेट Konkan mode मध्ये नेणारा शेवटचा घोट. Amsul Kitchen — छोटंसं ठिकाण, पण चवींत एक मोठ्ठा कोकण लपलेला. पोट भरलं… मन नाही.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Darya, a cozy little seafood restaurant in Vile Parle East. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu was packed with tempting options, and I couldn't wait to try some of their specialties. I started off with the Aloo Wadi and Kothimbir Wadi. Both were perfectly cooked and had a delightful crunch on the outside. The Prawns Fry and Chicken Tawa Fry were equally impressive, with the prawns being succulent and the chicken cooked to juicy perfection. Loved their Bombil Fry and Surmai Fry. For the main course, I opted for the Prawns Thali, Pomfret Thali, and Veg Thali. Each thali was a feast for the senses, with a variety of dishes that complemented each other beautifully. The Prawns Curry was particularly noteworthy, with a rich and flavorful gravy. To finish off, I couldn't resist trying the Sol Kadhi. It was a refreshing and tangy drink that perfectly rounded off the meal. Overall, my experience at Darya was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you're a seafood lover looking for a hidden gem in Vile Parle East, Darya is definitely worth a visit.

We recently visited this restaurant, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Every dish was packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The Prawns Thecha was outstanding — fresh, succulent prawns tossed in a spicy and flavorful thecha. The Stuffed Bombil with Prawns was equally impressive, beautifully prepared and bursting with rich coastal flavors. The Saoji Mutton was tender, rich, and perfectly cooked with aromatic spices that made every bite incredibly satisfying. And the Chicken Koliwada was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside — simply delicious. Overall, the food quality, taste, and freshness were excellent. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic coastal cuisine.

The owner Mrs.Prachi is extremely hospitable and made us feel at home, so welcoming and friendly. It’s a pet friendly place, I took my dog there and the staff and Mrs.Prachi welcomed my dog with so much love, the food was a 100/10, we ordered 2 Veg Thali’s and 1 surmai thali. The food makes your heart dance, it’s so delicious. Extremely budget friendly, hygienic and simply delicious. Would 100/10 recommend everyone to visit.

We discovered this new place in Vile Parle. They have variety in veg as well as nonveg menu. Special breakfast and special shravan menu available. We had Aloo Wadi Kothimbir wadi Prawns Fry Chicken Tawa Fry Bombil fry Surmai Fry Prawns thali Pomfret Thali Veg Thali Prawns curry Sol kadhi The fish was fresh. I felt that their speciality is nonveg upon veg. Will visit again. Will also order from them.

I order prawns thali, Pomfret thali Bombil fry and kombdi wade I must say this place serves one of the best sea food. Firstly the fish was so fresh and the food was very flavourful I had a good time .Definitely coming again.

We had gone to the restaurant to eat fish . We ordered Bombil Fry, which lacked taste, and the seasoning was very poor with less salt, no proper marination. So after eating this, our hearts broke to our dismay, so we paid the bill and moved out. It was my worst ever dinner date.

The fish was raw and the portions were too small. The fried fish was extremely oily. Even after informing the restaurant of the raw fish they did nothing to replace it and charged us for the whole dish
