What stood out to me was the hospitality. The staff greeted us warmly and guided us through the menu. Drinks arrived neatly served and tasted balanced. The place has a clean, peaceful energy. Definitely somewhere I’d recommend for casual meetups.

Located in a prime locality in Colaba. Araku Coffee is a serene, beautiful and peaceful place. Its perfectly spaced, with each table having its own space for conversations while being a part of something larger. Love that about it. They have sitting for smaller to larger groups. We met as a group of 6-7 people for lunch but unfortunately they had a power outage issue which they were upfront about along with informing us that no food would be available and even helped us with suggestions for nearby places. That honesty and care really made a difference. In the little time we were there. Here are some of the dishes we tried and loved: • Hazelnut cold brew. • Cafe yuzu • Sweet potato fries • Tater tots

Had the Kaapi Colada and the rava-fried fish burger, served with a side of sweet potato fries. The total bill came to around ₹1100 for just these two items, which wouldn’t have been an issue if the food had lived up to expectations. For a burger priced at ₹600, you’d expect a generous portion. Instead, it had just 3–4 small pieces of fried fish, placed more around the edges to make it appear fuller, while the center was noticeably empty. To make matters worse, the fish lacked freshness and had a distinctly stale, frozen aftertaste. The coffee mocktail was also disappointing—it lacked balance, with neither the coffee nor the colada flavors coming through distinctly. The sweet potato fries, however, were a highlight. They were perfectly crisp, the portion size was satisfying, and the dip served alongside complemented them well. The café itself had a very cozy vibe, and the staff were warm and welcoming. I just wish they’d focus more on the quality of the food and ensure it truly justifies the price.

decent food and coffee. however, my most recent experience at this establishment was unsavoury. On arriving we were told there's going to be a 15-20 min waiting period - which was fine as we could see that the place was packed. 5-7 mins into this wait, whilst we were having a look at their coffee offerings and their menu, they decided to seat three people who had just arrived. When we pointed out we had arrived before them, the server offered to seat us at the bar-like area. Since we wanted a proper table, he asked us if he could seat the other group at the bar. we were okay with that. Lo and behold! the server, instead of taking them to the bar stools, decided to take them upstairs and seat them at a proper table (when I had asked, I was told upstairs is closed for a private event). can I point out that the other group of three was made up of white people? I wasn't expecting to be discriminated against, but it is good to see that I can be humbled in this manner in a city that I was born and grew up in. when we pointed this out to the server he obviously came up with all sorts of excuses and started gaslighting us that we had misunderstood, whereas clearly it is there to see what is their preferred clientele. won't be going again, won't be ordering any coffee from Araku anymore.

Bad coffee not cold enough , bad burger, served cold , after telling the waiter , he gave us the explanation ahh poor! Risotto bad taste ! Sorry , pretty average !
