Delivery Review Arya Bhavan, Matunga E Idli Rassam Sabudana Vada Filter Coffee Known for Authentic South Indian Idli is soft and spongy, rassam is tasty. Overall good in taste and satisfaction. Sabudana Vada is oily, over fried and not at all enjoyable. Outside crispy inside sticky. Chutney is authentic and so good however vada - Do look into this. Filter Coffee came nicely packed. Reheat in microwave. No sugar moderate strength. WOW enjoyable indeed Food quality is 4.5/5 ⭐️ Delivery is within time, Zomato delivery boy was courteous and smiling. Using English as a language, presentable and pleasing. Delivery Rating 5⭐️

The food was delicious. Fresh lime soda is a MUST. We tried Ghee Podi Idli, Brahmin Idli and Mysore Masala Dosa.

Recently I visited this place with a friend and we ordered the following: • Button Podi Idli ⭐⭐⭐⭐ • Palak Masala Dosa ⭐⭐⭐½ • Spring Dosa ⭐⭐⭐⭐ • Tomato Onion Uthappa ⭐⭐⭐½ • Medu Wada ⭐⭐⭐½ • Pav Bhaji⭐⭐⭐⭐ • Filter Coffee ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honorary Mention: The Sambhar across all the dishes is spot on! The Location is right outside and opposite to Matunga Railway Station (CR). Ambiance - ⭐⭐⭐ Food -⭐⭐⭐ Hospitality - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Over-all Experience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This review is not about the food but about a waiter who kept on nagging my table because we had 5 kids with us and he kept on disturbing us saying things about kids & complaining about them Pls mention it’s not a kid friendly place if ur waiters don’t like tables with kids He is so rude that he asked me to get up and check the flavours available of the Anando milk in the fridge when I asked him kaunsa favour available hai And I did get up n walk to the fridge to find the fridge is locked I could not figure out the flavours available and again I had to find someone to help me out Was it so difficult to name the flavours when a customer is asking you a question? My table paid a bill of 5800 rs and that’s not a small amount But i had to write this review as im extremely unhappy with the waiter there wearing a blue shirt today Independence Day 15th August 2026 He seemed to be incharge of the tables and was very rude to us I’ have been visiting this place since I was a small kid with my parents but today was a very different scene

seems like the place is overhyped. I visited today with family, waited for 25 mins, I thought the food will be worth it, but it was disappointing. we ordered a paniyaram, iddi appam with stew curry and podi masala dosa. and These are my honest review for each paniyaram - 2/10 - taste was average, texture was good from outside but not cooked properly from inside. podi masala dosa - 4/10 - masala taste is average, I have had better masala dosa in street, podi and oil was too much. idi appam with stew curry - 5/10 iddi apam was nice but the stew curry was not up to the mark. all in all - not worth the wait and money.

very rude staff , we were waiting in the heat outside , didn't even bother to offer water. plus seat given was next to dirt and such unhygienic place. when we asked them to shift us , very rudely we were asked to again go back wait in the heat till another seat is empty. will upload the pics where they expected us to sit and apparently is "clean" according to them

bad attitude of staff. They purposely didn't tell full options available for jain menu for rice, because उसको टाइम लगेगा and purposely gave whatever was already available that is rassam rice. this is because they wanted us to finish our food asap on Sunday afternoon rush time. i had simply asked for tawa pulao!!!

Visited now but the staff are so low in treating a solo person to table, I literally traveled from 2 hrs journey to have a meal and they want me to seat where flys and washbasin is, poor staff

They are definitely not able to handle the crowd and orders. Go there only if you are ok to have some random south indian food due to the hype. The caterers are really bad.
