Badshah, a 100-year-old iconic restaurant near Crawford Market, is one of those places that feels like home. I have been visiting it for over 15 years, and every trip to Crawford Market or Fort comes with a mandatory stop here. It’s no surprise that nearly 90% of visitors to Crawford Market also dine here. It’s always crowded, but for all the right reasons.   Yes, the waiting lines can be long, but trust me, the moment you taste their food, you will know it’s worth it. The Royal Falooda is a must-try and has been my favorite for years. It’s always perfectly chilled and tastes exactly the same as it did when I first tried it 15 years ago. Their Cheese Pav Bhaji is another dish I can’t get enough of. I just have one word for it: delicious. I have also tried their Sabudana Wada and Club Sandwich, both of which were nice, but nothing tops my love for the Royal Falooda and Cheese Pav Bhaji.   The lively atmosphere is part of the charm, with diners enjoying their meals and staff bustling around to serve fresh and hot or cold food. The staff is humble and attentive.  If you ever visit Crawford Market or Fort, do yourself a favor and visit Badshah to indulge in some lip smacking food.   Ratings - Quality - 4.8/5 Quantity - 4.9/5 Service - 5/5 Price - ₹500 for 2 people For more mouthwatering food content, don't forget to follow @chefvaidehipathare on Instagram!

Very very well known since 1905 started with falooda, now badshah serves snacks as well. In busiest street of Mumbai, near crowford market this place is never empty. You can expect waiting over here. They have ac and non AC sitting. Service is very quick and hospitalable. Tried pav bhaji, flavourful not spicy and buttery. Veg cheese grill sandwich cheesy, like our mumbai street style sandwich. And ofcourse how can we miss falooda which this place is well known for, we tried badshahi bowl with loads of sabja , nuts ,seviyan and good amount of kulfi with balanced sweetness it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for quick snacks and refreshments.

About The Place - Badshah Restaurant is a well-known pure vegetarian eatery established in 1905. It offers ample seating across two levels: the upstairs section is air-conditioned, while the downstairs area is not. Please note that there is no parking available, and there is usually a queue on weekends. The restaurant is famous for serving a variety of snacks and cold drinks. About The Food - I Tried the The cheese pav bhaji at Badshah Restaurant is served semi-hot and garnished with cheese on top. It offers a decent taste, making it a popular choice among patrons. Cheese Masala Dosa - It Had A Decent Taste , the chutney and sambhar did not taste authentic , potato stuffed inside and cheese garnished on the top Carrot Juice - Served Room Tempature With No Ice And sugar added makes it healthy and good option for the rains.

Very famous place at Crawford Market. Known for their pav bhaji, I had to give it a shot being a pav bhaji fanatic myself. Lived up to the hype, great flavorful pav bhaji!

Hustle-bustle with Jelly and good Falooda. That is the only way to describe Badshah!

Pathetic restaurant! They don’t accept Gpay or card, they accept only cash, we requested the owner so much but he didn’t agree. He made us walk with our shopping bags and sent a waiter with us so we don’t run away with his 430 rs. All this to save tax!

They think they are doing charity by giving food even after charging exorbitantly high. Pav Bhaji is not accompanied by basic lemons and salads. These small savings might just cost them a fortune.
