"Baghdadi – Worth the Reel Hype!" I’d been seeing Baghdadi all over Instagram Reels and finally decided to try it out. Honestly, it lived up to the buzz. First off, the waiter deserves a mention , we were about to over order, but he wisely suggested starting with just one dish because the portions are huge. We ordered one Bheja Masala and one Tandoori Roti for two people, and that was more than enough for breakfast. The Tandoori Roti was massive , easily triple the size of a regular one — perfectly crisp , The Bheja Masala was rich and delicious, and adding a squeeze of lemon took it to another level. The portion was generous too. We ended with their Phirni, which was creamy, smooth, and a perfect sweet finish to the meal. The meals were also very affordable, and I noticed many people ordering Chicken Biryani. Judging by the crowd’s choice, I’m guessing it’s one of their specialties , definitely on my list for next time! Ratings: Bheja Masala: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Tandoori Roti: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Phirni: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Baghdadi definitely isn’t just social media hype — it’s the real deal.

Hey foodies !! Had the luxury of visiting this iconic ,legandary restaurant two times on last two weekends. Had that nostalgia, waiting outside in a queue . I had visited last may be between 2001 and 2005. Nothin much have change. Be its ambiance and obviously not the food taste . On the 1st visit we ordered their iconic Mutton masala and mutton fry. The mutton pieces were extremely soft to melt into my mouth. Masala gravy was semi dry with awsum masala taste . Had with their legendary bagdadi roti aka khameri roti . Experience I cannot express in words . Mutton fry had equal quantity of vegetables. Taste was super duper !! NXT time we ordered for chicken afghani with khameri roti . Chicken quality was very rich in taste and afghani curry had lots of green chillies but not at all spicy. Excellent choice !! Mutton dabba ghosh ..heaven ,heaven heaven . It's severed with bolied egg . Mutton again v v soft as butter . Lastly for deserts we opted for thier caramel custard..the best in the town. VFM and satisfaction to the core and hungry for more .... Will visit again and again !!

I first found out this Hotel in late 80's. I was in the Indian Navy at that time and many Sailors used to frequent Bagdadi Restaurant. No frills eatery with very very tasty Chicken dishes and Tandoor Rotis. I especially loved the Fry Chicken and the Chicken curry with a special gravy and fried chicken in it. Ofcourse accompanied by Cold Thumbs up or Coca Cola. The taste still lingers on my tongue even after 35 years. I don't know the current situation. Huge rush in the evening especially. Will have to wait to get a Seat. But that wait was worth for me. I would love to visit the place some day.

Visited Bagdadi on a weekday — tables were easily available, but we were slightly disappointed to learn that their signature dishes like Mutton Nihari and Dabba Gosht are served only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We tried: Mutton Bhuna Gosht – flavorful but could have been more tender (3.5/5) Bagdadi Chicken Fry – crisp and well-spiced (3.5/5) Buff Potato & Onion Fry – average, lacked depth in taste (2.5/5) Overall Rating: 3.5/5 – worth a visit for a casual meal and value for money, but go on a weekend.

Extremely disappointing experience! The owner of Bagdadi was very rude and disrespectful. On weekends, their attitude completely changes — no proper seating, delayed service, and absolutely no courtesy toward customers. I came from far to visit, and instead of being attended properly, I was taunted and spoken to in a bad manner by the owner himself. It’s really shocking to see such behaviour from someone running a restaurant. #DontVisitBagdadi #UnprofessionalOwner #BadExperience

Attitude of the person sitting on the cashier’s desk is rude, weird and very unwelcoming. Seems they are not bothered to cater to client requirements and creating a good atmosphere. Never experienced such an attitude from any restaurant owner. No matter the taste & quality of food, this attitude towards clients makes me suggest that people should refrain from visiting the joint.
